Wizards of the Coast, Inc. (WotC) - an American company that publishes board and card games, primarily fantasy and sci-fi. Also known as the founder of the collectible card games genre. In 1992, the company did not go well. Due to his plight, Edkison asked mathematician Richard Garfield to come up with a new type of game. In 1997, Wizards of the Coast acquired TSR, Inc. , known as Dungeons & Dragons . And in 1999, Hasbro bought Wizards of the Coast .
