DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME MARVEL CHAMPIONS: CARD GAME

 Here's a cooperative game inspired by Marvel comics, written by Michael Boggs, Caleb Grace, and the creator of the card game "Horror of Arkham" Nate French. Comic book lovers will definitely appreciate this masterpiece. The game has many awards. As Marvel Comics is one of the largest comic book companies along with DC Comics, it is not surprising that Marvel Champions ranks second in the list of live and collectible games.

YOU DON'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT YOU GOT INTO

 So we are transported to the Marvel universe, where five heroes - Iron Man, Black Panther, Marvel Captain, Spider-Man and Hulk Woman - confront the three villains - Rhinoceros, Clo and Altron. New additions will add new heroes and antagonists.

 Three scenarios define the story lines. For example, the Iron Man and the Black Panther team up to quell the Rhinoceros that terrorizes the streets of New York, and Captain Marvel and Spider-Man fight back to Altron, who wants to destroy the Avengers.

"ARE YOU SPIDER ?!" - NO, NO, I ... IT'S JUST A SUIT!

 Each player chooses a double-sided card of a hero who leads a double life. Each character has two sides - superhero and everyday, which is called alter ego. For example, Iron Man's alter ego is genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist Tony Stark. The villain will not notice an ordinary person, but the hero acts on him like a red cloak of Superman on a bull - the battle is not to be missed.

 Now we need to assemble a deck of basic game cards and additions based on the specialization card of the hero. There are four such specializations. Some give defensive skills, others add aggressive action or improve teamwork. You can change the specialization depending on the situation. For example, in the battle against the Rhinoceros, Spider-Man can attack, and in the fight against Chloe, act as a defender.

LET ME TORTURE THE PLAN, AND THEN IT WILL BE WHAT IT NEEDS

 Well, what about the villains? Each antihero is an esthete who has his own plan to conquer the world, and which the heroes, of course, are trying to destroy. Each plan is divided into several levels, represented by schematic maps. After completing the level, the villain finds new skills, and the conditions of the battle change. You need to deal with the villain until the plan is executed, and do not lose all health, otherwise the heroes lose.

 In the phase of heroes , participants take turns. In his turn, the player can perform the following actions:

• change identity - flip the card over. In the state of alter ego, you are not able to attack the enemy without assistance, but you can restore health and prepare for battle.
• play an ally, improvement, event, or support card by paying for it in resources or dropping the card
• use the main superpower, paying its cost, and turn the character's card. Superpowers allow you to restore health, attack, defend or counter the enemy.
• activate the action on the card or give such an opportunity to the partner

 In the villain phase

• Threat tokens are added to the map map. When the number of tokens reaches a critical mass, the card is turned over - the villain is approaching the cherished goal. If the last card is turned over, the heroes lose.
• the villain and his accomplices are activated, attacking the heroes and adding threat tokens.
