DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME SPRAWLOPOLIS

  You and your colleagues are urban planners hired to design a huge and successful metropolis! Together you must build a city that will suit the officials... and their demands can be very unusual. Plan your development carefully if you want to meet their high standards!

WHAT IS THE GAME ABOUT?

  Sprawlopolis is a cooperative game for 1-4 players in which you will have to build a new city from scratch. Using only 18 cards and a variable scoring system, the game is never the same! But that's not all! Along with the base game, the developers have added 4 mini-apps that have already conquered America and will finally reach us: Beaches, Landmarks, Construction Site and Ruinosaurus!

PREPARATION FOR THE GAME

  To begin with, you need to shuffle all the cards, putting 3 aside. It is these cards that determine the features of this game, how to get points. Each of them has a serial number - their sum determines the number of points that must be scored to win. Then you need to determine the first player - he receives 3 cards "quarters" down. All other players receive 1 card each. Place the rest of the cards on the side in a stack, quarter up. The top card goes straight into the Development Zone to establish a city.

GAME PROCESS

  During his turn, the first player who has 3 cards can choose one of them and add it to the already existing blocks according to the following rules:

• The card must touch one side (not necessarily completely) to the already laid out blocks OR overlap one or more blocks - but cannot completely overlap the already laid out card.
• The card can be turned upside down, but it must be laid out horizontally.
•   After a player has laid out a card, he gives the remaining cards to the next player, and then draws another card for himself. Now the next player chooses one of the cards he has.

END OF THE GAME

  When 15 cards have been played, the game is over. There are 4 types of quarters in the game - for each quarter in the largest group of each type, players receive 1 point. Then they lose 1 point for each road in the city. And at the end, players gain or lose points for the initial point cards. If the players scored the required number of points, they won.

  Sprawlopolis  is a simple city-building game in which several players cooperatively build blocks. It is perfect for family leisure - minimum conflict and maximum interaction!
