DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME CARDIA 

 Get ready, cunning ones! In this board game for two, you can only win by successfully playing your cards! Once upon a time, a young man was wandering through the swamps, and he saved a genie. Thus begins the legend of the city of Cardia, which, they say, was founded by these two. Now the city is in its prime, and attracts everyone from everywhere, but only the one or the other who wins the favor of all four factions - each of them!

 The swamps are home to rebels, the academy is proud of its scholars, the craftsmen of the Mechanics Guild are also busy, and the descendants of the same legendary adventurer, who call themselves a dynasty, are calling themselves the ruler of Cardia. Of course, it will be you, right?

HOW TO PLAY

 In the box you will find two sets of 32 character cards (16+16), location and landmark cards, as well as a large pile of various tokens. So getting started is simple: take your deck of 16 cards, shuffle it carefully and select 5 cards from there. Place the remaining components on the table so that both you and your opponent can freely reach them. That's it - the beginning of a simple and deep game is set!

 The game consists of several rounds, each of which is divided into three phases. First, both players choose one card from their hand and place it face down in front of them. When both have made a choice, the cards are revealed simultaneously and a check begins to see who has the advantage. The card with the greater power wins - put 1 ring from the supply on it. The hero who loses activates the effect of his card. Each character you play belongs to one of four factions and has its own effect: some gain rings for you, some can influence the arrangement of cards or tokens, some prevent your opponent from gaining an advantage. At the end of the round, you take a card from your deck again.

 In the game, faction control is determined by how many tokens are on that faction's location cards. You gain influence tokens by playing characters and using their abilities, and then place them on the appropriate locations. If you have the most influence on a particular faction location, you take its ring. The winner of the game is the first to win all four faction rings, or, if the decks are exhausted, the one who has the most.
