DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME  HIVE POCKET

 When several species of insects live in the same hive at the same time, constantly moving, climbing on each other's heads, swearing and fighting, the hive starts a mess. Only the Queen of the Hive can establish the order and rules of residence. But even here it is a failure - in our hive there are two Queens at once. So, all the insects, divided into two teams, led by their Queen, start a war, as a result of which only one Queen will remain, and order will prevail in the hive.

IN THE BOX WITH THE GAME A TRUE STREET ?!

 Well almost. The road version of the board game Hive Pocket includes 26 hexagonal chips with the image of insects. 13 pieces for each team. Placing chips to each other, as well as moving insects according to special rules, players will form this hive. By the way, the road version differs from the standard one, only in slightly smaller hexagons, but the road game also includes two additions: Mosquito and Ladybug chips (Hive: The Mosquito and Hive: The Ladybug), which is not in the base game. You will also find in the box a cloth bag for storing chips and rules. You will not need any field, you can play on any convenient surface.

HOW TO PLAY?

 So, each player presents 13 insect chips of his color. The bee chip is the Queen of the hive. It must be protected in every way. If during the game, the Queen of the opponent's hive will be surrounded by other hexagons (of any color) - you have won. But when trying to surround someone else's queen, do not forget about your protection.

GAME PROCESS

 In his turn, the player can perform one of two actions:

• Place any of your insects on the playing field, using only one rule: a new chip must be at least one side in contact with another chip of the same color. And do not touch the chip of another color (except the first move in the game).
• Move any of your insects on the hive, according to the rules of movement of this insect. Each species of insect walks differently. There is one taboo when doing this: you can't move the hive into two parts.

 By the way, the bee chip - the Queen of the hive, players must place on the table no later than the fourth move. That is. in your fourth move, you will be required to do so.

HOW INSECTS WALK

 Remember how in chess - a horse walks with the letter "G". That's how it is in the game Beehive, each insect walks in its own way. You can move the insect chip only to free places, not on top of other chips (if it is not the Beetle chip). You will read about all possible moves in the rules, and here are a couple of examples:

• The queen of the hive - as befits the head of state, she walks only one step, but in any of the six directions (to a free place, of course).
• Spider - moves in three positions (no more and no less), but moving only along other chips.
• Beetle - like the Queen of the hive, the beetle can be moved only one step, but the beetle is able to climb on the head of another insect. In this case, the chip under the Beetle is considered blocked until it comes down.

 Grasshoppers can jump, and ants can run fast and far, and so on. In general, more details in the game rules tab.

END OF THE GAME

 During the game, there may be situations when one of the players will be blocked from all possible moves. And here he misses his course. The game ends when someone's queen is surrounded. The team of the besieged queen is considered overthrown. In rare cases, both Queens may be surrounded at the same time. And here comes the draw.
