DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME SPIRIT ISLAND

 Usually in games everything is the other way around, but not in this one! Spirit Island is a strategic cooperative board game that demonstrates the view of the world not from the side of those who came to conquer and subjugate, but from the side of those who defend themselves and drive the invaders away! Imagine yourself as a spirit of nature, who has seen everything in his long life, but you have never seen anything worse than these new people, who plunder everything they touch, who do not respect either the land or its indigenous inhabitants - the Dakhans!

 The colonizers who have come to your island do not care about its customary order, settling too quickly throughout the territory, and with them the filth spreads. Playing as the island spirits, help the natives destroy the invaders and scare away their remnants so that they never set foot here again! Cooperative gameplay involves the defeat of your entire team if any of the spirits die, the conquerors manage to take root, or if the irreparable happens and the island is completely filthed.

ANY IRREVOCABLE THREAT CAN BE OVERCOME TOGETHER

 Native folk wisdom: only by communicating with each other and discussing tactics for each turn can you achieve victory in the game "Spirit Island"! Each turn is divided into certain phases, during which everyone will act simultaneously, but in a balanced manner!

 First, the spirits will walk. Each of them (that is, each of you!) does three things in sequence: grows, accumulates energy, and plays power cards, paying their cost. The next step is to use quick powers - the spirit's special abilities, indicated on its tablet. Note: if you abandon the quick power effect at this stage, it will no longer be possible to use it later - wait for the next turn!

ACTIONS OF THE CONQUERS

 Now we pass the microphone to the colonizers, and the first thing they do is defile the island and spread fear. If the defilement card was turned over to the "Defilement Island" side, follow the instructions on it, if you got fear cards, sequentially apply the effects of each such card that match your current fear level. Oh yes, we also think again - demonic invaders!

 The invaders' field has three areas of action: plunder, build, and explore. Cards placed on these areas will determine the regions where certain effects will spread. During their actions, the colonizers will damage regions, fight with the Dakhans who have long lived there, build their cities and towns, and, arriving from across the ocean or departing from cities and towns, explore new places to further their relentless progress.

LAST CHANCE TO ANSWER

 The penultimate phase of the game round is called slow powers - use the innate powers of your spirit, marked on your board with a blue turtle symbol. They work the same as the fast powers, only slower... well, you get the idea, right?

 At the end of each round, we discard the applied power cards to our personal discard piles, cleanse ourselves of damage and elements, and tally up the totals. Try to win before the time runs out, and don't let the invaders destroy even a single spirit, and don't forget to keep an eye on the spread of filth tokens!

 If you had success playing Arkham Horror, don't expect it to be as easy here: it's not without reason that they say that the worst evil on the planet is people themselves. We definitely recommend this fabulous fantasy board game to fans of cooperative gameplay.
