DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION TERERAFORMING MARS: COLONIES

Terraforming Mars and Project Venus completed successfully. It's time to explore distant satellites on the outskirts of the solar system and establish colonies there! So, it's the turn of the clouds of Jupiter and Pluto. Get 49 new projects in development and join five newly arrived ambitious corporations. This add-on is compatible with the above-mentioned Project Venus, Hellas and Elysium, Prelude, and future add-ons.

COLONIES ARE THE ENGINE OF PROGRESS

 While players enrich their knowledge of new planets, the authors enrich the gameplay with fresh and exciting mechanics. Thanks to the new mechanics, players can build colonies on eleven satellites of the planets. Everyone gets a merchant fleet at their disposal, which will ply between satellites. Two types of new projects are available to the fleet - you can build colonies and trade with them.

 After choosing a building, the player pays the appropriate amount and moves the cube to the satellite. Due to its modest size, the satellite can accommodate a little more than three colonies. Colonies bring new resources or increase their production. However, the main function of the colony is trade.

 After paying the specified amount and contributing the necessary resources, the fleet moves to a satellite free of foreign fleets, where at least one colony was located. As a result, one flight can bring you a significant amount of resources. Since colony owners get paid for it, it makes the most sense to trade with those satellites where your colonies are represented. It is also reported that the new mechanics will be expanded in future additions to the series.
