DESCRIPTION OF  BOARD GAME MONSTERS VS. HEROES: VOLUME 2 — CTHULHU MYTHOS

 You probably didn't expect to see a field of daisies on this page! — and you were not mistaken, the likes of the King in Yellow or Father Dagon will sooner bring you a bouquet of cod and oysters, and even sooner you yourself will get to their table ... unless you meet someone like Robert Olmsted, Danforth or the professor on the way Laika!

 The board game "Monsters vs. Heroes: Volume 2 - Chthulhu Mythos" offers to succumb to collective madness in a fun and fast way! At your disposal are two themed decks based on two works by Howard Phillips Lovecraft: "In the Mountains of Madness" and "Gloom over Innsmouth". If you have other decks, such as from the first version of Monsters vs. Heroes: Victorian Horror, you can combine them to take the madness to the max!

GAME PROCESS

 Pick up a random faction card and do not show it to others. Let all the players do the same. Now put the extra faction cards in the box, hide it away and don't let anyone look in there: how many cards there are and what they are - secret information. Now we create a deck of characters, form a reset next to it and take three cards from it - this is our starting hand. You can drop them if you don't like them, and take new ones, but you are allowed to do this only once! Remember, there should always be no more than three cards in your hand - that's the maximum!

 In our turn, we do one of two things: either we play the card in front of us, forming our own playing area, or we take the top card from the deck. Some cards allow you to play them into another player's play area to spite them a little. When playing a card, we read the text on it and apply its effects, basically all of them, even negative ones, unless otherwise noted.

 As soon as anyone takes the last card from the deck, the game is over. Everyone reveals their faction cards and counts the number of special symbols on the cards in their playing area. Heroes get one point for ladybugs and lose points for skulls, and monsters do the opposite!

 Simple rules will allow anyone interested to quickly enter a party of the card board game, and the opportunity to play with a large group of up to 8 people - gather all your friends at the table! The game "Monsters vs. Heroes: Call of Cthulhu" will draw everyone - both children and adults - into the world of tricks and bluff. Are you for monsters or heroes? Confess!
