DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME LOVECRAFT LETTER 

 Lovecraft Letter is a card themed board game for 2-6 players based on the mega hit The Secret Message. However, this time we will not look for a way to deliver a letter to the princess, but enter the world of dark and creepy stories by Howard Phillips Lovecraft.

 This game inherits its predecessor in many ways. Basically, the rules have not changed, just some nuances have appeared during the game. At the beginning of the game, participants still receive one card each, and then, taking turns taking turns, choosing cards from the general deck, and then playing one of the cards in their hand, they can spy on other people's cards or exchange cards with another player, and so on. At the end of the game, the player who has the card with the highest number in the upper corner is the winner.

INNOVATION

 The game also introduced a new type of cards - madness cards. Each of these cards has as many as two game effects that the player can use. But nothing is given for free, and such power will have to be paid for. You remember that we are in the world of Lovecraft, which means that the payment here is madness. Playing such cards gives the player many more options for reacting to their opponents' actions, but before each turn the insane player must make a sanity check by drawing as many cards from the deck as the number of insanity cards he has played. If at least one of the drawn cards turns out to be crazy, the player is out of the game.

WHO IS THE GAME FOR?

 Unlike other board games based on Love Letters , here not only the illustrations have been changed, but also the mechanics have been reworked a bit, introducing a wonderful innovation with madness cards. With them, the game shone with new colors, and became much more strategic and exciting. Lovecraft fans will meet old acquaintances from the writer's novels on the illustrations of the cards, and other fans of board games will definitely like interesting and dynamic games!
