Sirens and car alarms howled terribly, and a huge dinosaur, wagging its tail a second time, crashed into the bank building. A terrible howl sounded in the night sky, and a monster appeared on the horizon. The giant ape, crashing three blocks in two jumps, crashed into a dinosaur at full speed. Monsters rolled on the ground, turning houses into piles of ruins. Finally, from above, the Monkey began to inflict powerful blows, destroying his enemy.

WHAT IS THE GAME ABOUT?

"King of Tokyo" is a fun company board game for 2-6 people, invented by the famous game designer Richard Garfield, first of all famous for inventing the popular Magic the Gathering in the mid-90s of the last century.

So, the prophecies of many blockbusters are coming true - an unexpected disaster has befallen the coastal city. Huge monsters from the depths of space, the ocean abyss and parallel worlds attacked the huge metropolis of Tokyo. They smash skyscrapers, crumple like tin cans, cars, and fight fiercely. Do you think you should save Tokyo? How could it not be! On the contrary, each of the players will become one of the monsters, and try to become a real ruler of Tokyo! HOW TO PLAY?

 The rules of the game are quite simple, clear and logical. You can explain them in five minutes, and literally immediately immerse yourself in an exciting and adventurous gameplay. Before the game, each participant receives a cardboard monster figure and a personal tablet with life counters and victory points. In the center of the table is a playing field with a picture of the city and two cells for monsters. Place upgrade cards, power chips, and dice on the side within your reach. The goal of the game is to score 20 victory points or destroy all opponents. Players take turns making dice, rolling dice and throwing unpleasant results. After the second rollover, you need to apply all the dropped values. The symbols on the dice bring players victory points, energy and even heal wounds. The mechanics of the attack are very interesting. At the beginning of the game, all the monsters are on the outskirts of the city, and as soon as one of the players receives a symbol of attack after the roll, he must go to Tokyo, placing his figure on the appropriate field. Now, his attacks will damage all opponents, and each move the player will also earn bonus winning points. But not everything is so simple! Staying in Tokyo has its disadvantages - the lord of Tokyo can not be treated while he is in the city, and all the other players, throwing paw symbols (attacks) always damage the monster in Tokyo! Therefore, even holding out one circle becomes risky! At any time, after receiving damage, the player can leave the city, and then the monster that wounded him will invade the long-suffering metropolis! At the end of his turn, the player can spend the accumulated chips of energy and buy an upgrade card from the total stock. There are actually a lot of cards and they can have a great effect on the overall course of the game. You can get extra dice, third roll over, ignore wounds, extra life and more.

 At the time of its release, The King of Tokyo was considered one of the best friendly games, and still remains, thanks to the simple, bright and adventurous gameplay, crazy replayability, and stunning, stylish illustrations made in the colorful style of comics.
