DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME CELESTIA BIG BOX


 In his travels, Gulliver sought the magical world of Celestia. Each stage of his adventure was a new celestial city, shrouded in its own secrets, full of surprises, obstacles and rewards. It's time for us to embark on an intriguing journey through the world of Celestia. Perhaps you will be the pilot who will lead the ship to the cherished goal.


CELESTIAL CITIES


 The world of this board game is open. There are 9 celestial cities in front of you. The further the city is located, the more interesting and significant rewards you can get by reaching it. But do not forget that with each step your adventure becomes more dangerous, and the strength and opportunities to resist threats are becoming less and less. There will be several adventures on your journey. Each will start with the city of Wind (value 1) and can be completed in the city of Light (25). If you visit a celestial city, its inhabitants will give you a reward. The rewards of each city have different values. You will have to trust your team members if you want to get a big reward. The closer you are to the city of Light, the more significant your reward is.


FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS — LET'S GO!


 Your first adventure. Each player places their hero in the airship and takes 8 cards into their hand (6 in a game of four or more). The cards in your hand are your protection from troubles on the way, as well as special abilities that will help in various situations. The first player is the captain of the ship, and it is in his hands that the next stage of your journey is determined.

 You are in the first city. The captain of the ship must continue his journey and reach the next city (with a value of 2). He rolls dice - their number is indicated on the tile of the city to which your team is going. The values on the dice are possible obstacles and threats that will be encountered on the way to the city.

 Based on the results of the roll (future threats), all players except the captain decide whether they are ready to go with the captain on this path. Those who have refused to continue the adventure leave the ship and are placed in the current city (remove their token from the ship and move it to the city tile). For everyone else, the adventure continues. Now you can play special cards from your hand that allow you to throw a passenger off the ship.


THE CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP WELCOME YOU!


 It is the captain's turn - he announces to everyone whether he can withstand obstacles or not. To prevent obstacles and threats, you need to play the appropriate cards from your hand. For example: If fog fell on the dice, you need to play a compass card.

 If it is not possible to reach the next city, then the adventure ends there, and everyone who remains on the ship does not receive a reward, everyone who disembarks and stops in cities during the adventure can receive a reward from that city. If the captain manages to overcome the obstacles, the adventure continues and the ship moves to the next city tile.


NOT ALL IS LOST YET


 Immediately after the captain announces his options, he can use the catapult (one of the cards in his hand) and abandon the ship in case of a threat of mission failure. Players who abandoned the ship can play a wind card - in this case, the captain must roll the dice. In turn, the captain can use the special ability of the cards and roll the dice.

 There is a possible situation where the captain cannot confront a threat, but he has a card that allows him to ignore threats. The captain can announce its use after all cards have been played (catapult, wind, alternative route).


THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE


 Everyone who remains on the ship continues the adventure. A new player becomes the captain and everything repeats itself. The adventure ends either with the ship sinking or with all players reaching the city. At the end of the adventure, all players take one reward card from the pile corresponding to the city they reached.

 A new adventure requires preparation: complete your backpack - take one card from the deck into your hand; prepare the ship for departure - place it on the first city tile and place the participants' tokens in it; change the captain. Set off on another adventure, and you will have to travel until someone collects 50 city rewards points.


COMMUNICATION AND BLUFF


 In the Celestia board game, communication is welcome: share your capabilities, tell players that you have cards that can withstand any threat, hint at a possible failure of the mission or, conversely, its successful continuation. You are not limited in communicating with each other, but you cannot show the cards in your hand. During active progress, cards leave the player's hand faster than they replenish it - this must be taken into account at the planning stage. In the game, you will have to bluff - without it, there is no way.
