 The heated battles of serious-minded beasts continue, only slightly changed the field of action and perspective - now the agenda is cold war and under-the-carpet games. We ask for mercy in the fields of intelligence, diplomacy and economy, where cute little animals have already established their own murderous strategy and opened a second front - invisible, but very important! Meet the independent continuation of the dueling board "Critters At War: Flies, Lies & Supplies"!

BOTH ORDINARY AND EPIC

 You can always play this version of Beasts of War for two, using the standard rules, but if you're lucky enough to get both the treasured boxes - the base and the add-on - then there's a chance to realize its full potential. You can combine games in two different ways:

In normal mode, we just play as usual, but we get the opportunity to choose the theaters of war that we liked the most. In this case, the game uses tablets and maps of only selected theaters, the rest of the components wait their turn in the box.

Epic mode allows you to engage in battle as many as 5 theaters instead of 3 and your own unique generals. At the start, you now have 10 cards in your hand instead of 6, and to win the battle you will need to control three theaters at once. In this case, the authors advise to play up to 6, and not up to 12 victory tokens, so that the games do not drag on too much, but when are real heroes stopped by such trifles? Go to the end if the fiery heart of a warrior demands it!

PREPARATION AND GAME OBJECTIVES

 At the beginning of the game, three tablets of theaters of war will appear on the table, and both players will receive six cards and a general card, which will determine the turn order. 6 of the remaining 18 cards lie face up next to each other. The war will consist of separate battles, the victory in which will be awarded with special tokens. Collected 12 such tokens - rejoice, your army officially moves to the category of those who "could".

GAME PROCESS

 Tablets will form columns between the players, in which we will place cards - each from his side. If the strength of our cards in one of the columns exceeds the total strength of the opponent's cards, then we control this theater. Gaining control of the majority of theaters is one of the conditions for winning a battle. You can also "take the fight" by forcing the enemy to withdraw troops.

 Tactical abilities, which are on most maps, are responsible for the complexity and strategicness of the game. They can be permanent or instant and are activated the moment the card is played face up. Sometimes the card can be played and closed with a standard power of 2, but then the "delicious" tactical ability can only be dreamed of.

 In our turn, we can perform only one of three possible actions:

• to deploy the troops, that is, to play one vodka card from your hand to the theater to which it belongs;
• to improvise - to lay out a card of dolifaces in any of the theaters;
• to withdraw the troops - in fact, to cede this battle in favor of the enemy.

 At the end of the round, we distribute tokens according to the results of the battle and continue again until anyone can boast twelve victory points. The beast fight is over, cheers to the winner!

 From now on, the team mode of the game is available to players. The ability to go beyond the standard dueling format and introduce help to the party - the third and fourth warrior - is not some kind of myth, but reality, but only if you decide to combine the game with the basic version.
