DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME MAVKA: BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
We've already looked at a cooperative game about Mavka that challenges your memory ("Mavka: The Magic Willow") , it's time for another test in which everyone is for themselves: can you not get lost on the way from the fun fair? Running with friends is so great! Huk, Kvus, Shust and our dear friends Mavka and Lukash decided to organize an amazing race between two worlds - the world of people and the magical forest. Because you have already guessed what is needed from you: nimble feet and an indescribable desire to be a leader!
In this, of course, surprisingly magical game based on the animated film "Mavka. Forest song", each of us will know the personal location that should be visited first. As soon as you reach such a place, quickly grab the token that indicates the next goal, and quickly chase another one there! Because the one who reaches the third final place before everyone else will experience the amazing taste of victory!
HOW TO PLAY
The participants of the frantic competition stomp at the start and want to move as quickly as possible. What is needed for this? Each turn the active player will change clockwise, and as soon as you get that role, draw two cards from the rune deck. Now you have to move to the location on the map adjacent to your token and perform the action it assigns. But don't worry, because in the end, your legs, which you have prepared so carefully, will not be able to help you - to travel between magical worlds, you need to use runes!
Look carefully at the path in front of you: do you see colored circles? They indicate how many rune cards you must discard to move between locations, and what color they must be (red, blue, purple, or green). The golden rune is the most valuable, it can replace any.
When you finally get to a nearby location, perform an action there. Each place has its own: you will have a chance to take 2 cards from the rune deck, exchange any number of cards from your hand for the same number from the deck, take a random card from the hand of one of your former comrades, or even exchange cards with another player . Remember: you only win when you reach the location indicated on the third token!
WHO IS THE GAME FOR?
A simple board game-journey, made in the style of a wonderful Ukrainian animated film about a beautiful monkey and her friends, will appeal to the youngest participants and will attract adults with unusual mechanics. Due to the presence of different goals, the chips will run around the map rather chaotically, but don't worry: the main thing is to follow your own and turn in the right direction in time!
