DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME THE LOST RUINS OF ARNAK

 Researchers have discovered a desert island that preserves the heritage of a great civilization. Players transform into archaeologists who organize an expedition to unknown lands to find ancient artifacts. However, trying to penetrate the secrets of the island, researchers soon realize that it is inhabited. Terrible guards guard the ruins, but you have helpers.

BEFORE THE GAME

 In the right part of the playing field there are three decks - artifacts, fear, objects. One card is opened from the deck of artifacts, five from the deck of objects. These cards form a series from where you can buy cards. Idol tiles are laid out on the location.

 To the left are the locations and the track of the study. Stacks of temple tiles and bonus tiles are placed in the appropriate place. The supply field adjoins the main field. There are tokens of resources, research, location tiles, guards and assistants. Resources are represented by coins used to finance the expedition, compasses, stone tablets, arrowheads and gems.

 Each player receives a tablet, study tokens with a magnifying glass and 4 basic cards of their color. Study tokens are placed on the starting divisions of the corresponding track. Players also receive tokens of coins and compasses.

HOW TO PLAY

 The expedition will last 5 rounds. Participants take turns. During the game you will provide your expedition with useful items, explore the jungle in search of artifacts and monuments, as well as fight the formidable guards.

 In his turn, the player can perform one basic action. This limitation requires a very careful choice. You can dig, discover new locations, defeat guards, buy and play cards, explore or pass.

 Some actions do not require workers, but resources. Therefore, it is important to provide your expedition with a reliable raw material base. Actions give players resources, opportunities and points. Building a deck is not limited to traditional effects. Cards can be used to accommodate workers.

 Exploring the island allows you to discover new actions in the workers. During the survey, players pay to move their tokens on the track and receive a reward. Reaching the top of the track, the player takes the bonus tile of the Lost Temple. You can then explore the temple's tiles by paying for them.

WHO ARE THE GUARDS

 Ancient ruins are guarded by huge mysterious creatures. As soon as the player tears off a new location, a guard appears. It has no immediate effect, but if you do not beat it by the end of the round, there will be consequences. The archaeologist in fear will leave the location and receive a fear card, which takes 1 point.

 To defeat the guard, you must pay the price indicated on his card. After that, you will be able to earn the respect of the guard and take advantage of its effect. At the end of the game, participants receive points for the defeated guards, the position of the tokens on the research track, the tiles of the temples, the idols found, the collected items and artifacts.
