DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME SAGRADA

 The Church of the Holy Family in Barcelona is rightfully considered one of the most amazing masterpieces of architecture. The project was developed by the Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi. The construction of this huge church began at the end of the 19th century and continues to this day. Even being unfinished, the temple attracts a huge number of tourists every year. In terms of popularity, this building can be compared to the Alhambra Palace.

 Like other Gaudí buildings, the towers of the church seem to be sculpted from sand and resemble sandcastles. Without a doubt, the temple will captivate connoisseurs of beauty for many centuries and will immortalize its creators. Ah, how one would like to join this masterpiece in order to go down in history! Unfortunately, one selfie on his background will not be enough... What to do? Thanks to the Sagrada game, we will learn how to create amazing stained glass windows and decorate the Church of the Holy Family with them!

IN THE WORKSHOP

 Players place round and scoring fields, tools, and general objective cards on the table. Each participant takes a diagram of a stained glass window, a personal goal card and a tablet where he will create his masterpiece. The scheme shows which cube of which color and denomination should be in one or another cell. Also, participants receive a certain number of privileges, according to the icon in the lower right corner of the stained glass diagram.

COLORED GLASS PAINTINGS

 If the construction of the temple lasts almost a century and a half, then the creation of stained glass windows will take 10 rounds. True, they are played quickly. The first player draws the specified number of dice from the bag and throws them. First, players go clockwise. You can perform two actions during your turn:

• take one cube, put it on the free edge of the stained glass window,
• apply a tool card effect.

 As soon as the first round ends, the participants perform the available actions in reverse order. As a result, one cube remains, which is used to indicate the number of the round.

CLASSICS AND MODERNITY

 The temple was conceived as an unusual building. Many elements look very modern and futuristic. For example, windows. Therefore, we will not create classic, but modern stained-glass windows, so that two identical elements do not collide with each other. This approach resembles a sudoku puzzle.

CREATOR'S TOOLS

 Since the church has been rebuilt many times, we will also have the opportunity to correct our mistakes thanks to tool cards and privilege tokens. One or more privilege tokens are required to use a tool card. Using tools, we will perform the same actions as real craftsmen: make patterns on glass, cut edges, fit pieces of glass to each other, etc.

COMPLETION OF WORK

 After the end of the tenth round, the game ends and the scoring begins. Points are awarded for general and personal goal cards. Unused privilege chips earn extra points. The temple is being built for too long anyway, so we will lose our glasses for the unfinished elements of the stained glass. After counting the points, for greater effect, you can pronounce the following aloud: "We solemnly announce that the participant who scored the maximum number of points created the most beautiful stained glass window and immortalized his name on a par with Antonio Gaudi!" Imagine what other players' mines will be like.

THE LONELINESS OF THE GREAT MASTER

 Great art can be created alone. The game has a solo mode. The player's goal is to score more points than the sum of the dice that mark the round numbers.
