In fact, the notorious "Game of Thrones" in one way or another accompanies every state that periodically experiences a change of power. To feel the atmosphere of the change of political regime, take direct part in trying to take root in your style of government, overcome stumbling blocks and destroy the root of the problem in the struggle for power and justice in the magical forest is offered by the board game Root .

WHAT AHEAD OF US?

 The board game Root is a strategic collision-journey for 2-4 players with completely asymmetric factions, you are destined to take the side of one of them and enter the struggle for power in the forest with your own orders and aspirations. Due to the complete asymmetry of roles, the preparation for the party is different for each faction, as well as, in fact, each faction plays its own unique game.

FACTIONS

• The warrior Marquise de Côté replaced the Winged Dynasty at the throne. She caused quite a stir in the forest and caused a lot of problems for its inhabitants: cutting down trees, building up the forest with sawmills, workshops and barracks, which bring victory points to the current ruler of the forest. They start the game with the Marquise de Côté faction with a warrior each in the meadows, but one of them must be free. During the move, the cat has 3 actions per day phase, the number of which can be increased by using jokers.
• The Winged Dynasty has no intention of leaving the forest to an authoritarian ruler and wants to regain power. Being part of the feathered politicians, you must obey the execution of decrees. The game for the bird faction starts with 6 warriors on the lawn, and the victory points are earned by built nests. From the morning, programmed moves with an increase of actions by 1 or 2 can take the Winged far ahead after noon, but in parallel with this they have some amount of risk. After all, for failure to comply with the order, you can lose victory points and the leader...
• Both owners - former and real are not welcome to the Forest Union - a recently formed revolutionary movement. In the starting position of the playing field, the Forest Union is absent, but it gradually embraces the forest dwellers with its own ideology with the help of follower cards that bring victory points. The influence of the rebel faction increases as rebellions break out and the base is built. Officer training will determine the number of actions taken during the evening phase.
• Eager for forest glory, Burlaka lives by his own laws, but he is also not against asserting himself against the background of vicissitudes unfolding in the forest and going on an exciting adventure. He is alone, completely alone, he does not know how to fight, but he has golden hands and a watchful eye. The performed actions are affected by items that Burlak has made or found on his own or that he can safely exchange for cards from other participants. Burlak receives victory points for completed tasks and diplomatic relations with other factions.

WINNING THE GAME

 
 The first faction to score 30 victory points wins this game. At the same moment, the game ends.
