You definitely won't like ours: a gloomy fantasy-strategy about the times, full of devastation of a difficult dark era, creepy beliefs and continuous strife - this is the atmosphere that the hearts of heroes, guardians of the former Empire, long for today. The creator of 7 Wonders, Takenoko and other hit games was inspired by the brutal medieval past, spiced up his project with a fantasy plot component and released for us a wonderful multi-component board with the most beautiful art.

HISTORICAL NOTE

 What is "Oltréé" ? This is the battle cry of sentinels who patrol the wilderness and protect civilians from terrifying monsters. Once upon a time, the lands here were prosperous, but now, after the terrible wars against the Witch King and the collapse of the Empire, they have fallen into chaos. Consolidate the communities and revive the former power of the state, return the treasures of the Emperor and give the people the long-awaited hope - we, the guardians, will strive for this and will definitely achieve our goal!

WHAT AWAITS US

 A cooperative game is waiting for us, in which we will provide help and in every way contribute to the inhabitants of one of the provinces that are bowing - Satrapia. The main goal is to build a reliable stronghold in this harmful place. Party by party, we will discover new milestones in history and "write" our own chronicle, traveling and gaining fame, as well as participating in short skits-incidents with unforeseen events. It is necessary to try and fulfill the assignment as best as possible so that everything ends well and the annals end in our favor.

A LITTLE STRUCTURE OF THE WALK

 The entire life of the guards consists of completing tasks: to win, you need to successfully complete the last chapter of the annals. If the happy ending did not happen or you accidentally dropped your prestige to zero, you naturally lose and leave the battlefield branded with shame.

 The round consists of 2 phases, which we will play alternately. First you need to determine the attack by rolling a die and move the attack marker according to the result. This marker will continuously run four spaces, following a circle. It can indicate the opening of the next chapter of the annals, can lead to an incident and the loss of valuable prestige points, add a problem card to one of the regions, or force the player to draw a new event from the deck.

INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITIES

 Next, we have to perform two different actions from a large list. For example, move your character to one of the adjacent zones or a fortress, rest to get provision tokens and health points, ask for help from the community in the location region, solve a problem, resolve an incident, build something or repair a building, perform an additional action for 2 units of provisions - in general, our law enforcement officers are working and do not hang around idle.

 In addition, each sentry has its own skills and abilities. There are four types of skills: a squad consists of soldiers, artisans, travelers and scientists. But each sentry has its own ability, just like a personal cube. Yes, hardy Maeve can afford not to waste health points when she passes a skill check, and adventurous Lars gets an extra 1 health point and 1 provision token every time he decides to take a nap.
