DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION CARTOGRAPHERS: MAP SET 3 — UNDERGROUND CITY: DEPTHS OF SABEC

 A secret lies beneath the capital of Nalos. A forgotten labyrinth of corridors, caves, and passages, inhabited by outcasts and criminals, remains unexplored. The Queen chooses you: descend into the Underground City, find rivers that glow in the dark, settlements, and strange mushrooms that grow right in the bowels of the earth... and, most importantly, don't get lost!

 "Underground City: Depths of Sabek" is the third expansion pack for the game "Cartographers" and "Cartographers: Heroes", which adds a new mechanic of dividing the map into aboveground and underground parts. Now your route should not only be efficient, but also stretch between two worlds!

HOW TO PLAY

 In this expansion, you will find new double-sided map sheets with special markings depending on the level of space and new cards for calculating reputation. Before starting the game, choose which side of the map to use. All reputation cards in this expansion replace the corresponding base cards. If you are playing on the advanced side of the map (U2), you start the game with a gate that must be placed above the dividing line - the land line.

 The map is now divided into two zones - above ground and underground. The shapes you draw must be entirely in one zone. Each new drawing must be connected by a continuous path to the gate. If the rules do not allow you to draw any of the shapes, you fill the 1×1 square with any type of terrain (except mountains), maintaining the continuity of the route.

 The Underground City is a great addition for those looking to try out new spatial logic and breathe even more strategy into the familiar gameplay. Dividing the map into two levels adds new possibilities but also guarantees you new challenges.
