DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION CARTOGRAPHERS: MAP PACK 2 — AFFRIL: LAND OF KNOWLEDGE

 Somewhere between the clouds and uncharted archipelagos, purple arches rise and echo with knowledge. The land of Affril calls! Instead of the usual mountains and fields, here are islands scattered across the map like fragments of thought. And only the most attentive cartographer will be able to combine them into a single system, creating a map worthy of legends.

 "Affril. Land of Knowledge" is the second expansion to the board game "Cartographers" and "Cartographers: Heroes", which will introduce you to the mechanics of connecting islands: for this you will have to spend a lot of coins! Complete new reputation goals for real puzzle fun. It's not enough to draw - you will have to think like a city builder and strategist.

HOW TO PLAY

 In this version, you draw shapes only on connected islands. Want to expand? Pay with coins and open a new path! Before the game starts, players themselves mark the connection point between the islands - and then everyone uses logic as their passion for cartography tells them.

 The expansion also introduces some changes to scoring: new reputation cards have their own goals, and therefore pose new challenges. By the way, don't forget about ambush cards: it's better not to make a mistake, otherwise a monster may appear where you least expect it.

WHO IS THE SUPPLEMENT FOR?

 The expansion will appeal to players who are already familiar with the base game and want more content. "Affril - The Land of Knowledge" is the second of three expansions to "The Mapmakers" that changes the usual terrain for the work of royal mapmakers. The first expansion "Nebblis - The Land of Fire" will introduce you to lava lands, and the third - "Underground City - The Depths of Sabek" will divide the usual universe into underground and aboveground!
