DESCRIPTION OF EXPANSION DIXIT 5: DAYDREAMS

  Psychologists say that our dreams are a reflection of our thoughts. Anything you think about before bed, or that worries you, can visit your dream. Mentioned one of the friends with whom you have not seen for a long time - op, and now you have "accidentally" met in a dream. We read at night and fell asleep - op, and you yourself became one of the heroes of the book.

 And now imagine that the opposite is happening: yesterday you dreamed that you broke the jackpot in the lottery, and today it all happened in reality! On the one hand - interesting, on the other - scary, because in this way not only good dreams but also nightmares can get into reality. What to do then?

DIXIT: LET'S PLAY UNTIL WE SLEEP!

 To fall into a sweet dream with Dixit, it is not necessary to climb into bed, put a pillow under your head and "dive" under a blanket, just gather a company of 3-6 people, stock up on cards, chips, tokens, imagination and good mood. Some of the necessary components will have to be borrowed from the original issue of Dixit, because Dixit 5: Daydreams is a supplement to the basic game, and contains only large cards with pictures.

 Now that everything and everything you need to assemble, you can start. Participants get 6 cards in their hands, and the rest are placed in a stack in the center of the table, the chips are sent to the field on the cage "start". Let the one who recently had a good dream go first. Players take turns becoming the narrator. He needs to choose one card from his hand, come up with an interesting association with it and voice it to other players. As associations you can name a color or make a sound, sing a line from a song, say a word or phrase, say someone's name, the name of a movie or a book. In a word - no borders, no prohibitions, no censorship!

 Now the other participants look at their cards and choose here which one exactly fits the voiced association. All selected cards are stacked in one stack with the narrator's card shirt up, shuffled and opened. The players' task is to determine which of the illustrations the narrator has chosen and to vote for it with his token. Naturally, the narrator himself does not vote. Depending on who and how many people guessed or did not guess, players are awarded points. On the next turn, the players select one new card, and the role of the leader passes to the next participant.
