The Chicago Express Board Game is an economic slant game in which players act as investors who buy shares in rail companies. They spend money on the development of the company and build railways. The player who made the most money wins the game. The playing field is presented in the form of a map of the United States, divided into different types.

The game was designed by Gary Wu and illustrated by an artist named Michael Menzel.

In 2009 The game was nominated for a BoardGameGeek Golden Geek game this year.

Initially, the participants hold an auction that sells shares of all five companies. Each company only issues one share, the number of shares is limited. Then the players make a turn in the order. There are three acceptable actions you can take during each turn: bid one unsold stock, build a track line for your company, develop a city, or explore a new territory that already has a company track.

All these actions are marked on the floor by an indicator. First, the player moves the arrow on the required indicator, and then either does the intended or not. If the choice fell on the extension of the railway, then the participant of the game pays for the construction of the segment with funds from the assets of the company. The company can only obtain funds from the sale of shares - this is an important point. The development of the territory and the development of cities does not require money and increases the income of the company. After the arrows of two of the three indicators have reached the final mark, the dividend payment phase will come. The dividend is equal to the income of the company, which is divided by the number of shares sold. Players receive dividends from the bank, then the indicator arrows are reset to zero.

The game ends if one of the following conditions is fulfilled: - trains are over for all three companies
- three companies have ended stocks < br> - 3 or less idle chips left
- Detroit development value reaches 8

Players get their dividends last time and are counting money. The one who has made the most of it and is the winner!

The gameplay is dynamic, which makes it exciting. The game does not release the participant for a minute. Top-level gaming components. The drawings are very high quality, the chips are made of wood, and the cards are made of solid cardboard. The size of a game currency is the only thing that can cause a negative response. In principle, the denominations can be easily viewed, so the minus is negligible. Fans of economic strategies will definitely appreciate this game.
