DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME CHICAGO EXPRESS

 The board game Chicago Express is a game with an economic slant, in which players will play the role of investors who buy shares of railway companies. They spend the invested funds on the development of the company and build railway tracks. The player who earns the most money wins the game. The playing field is presented in the form of a map of the United States, divided into different types of territory.

GAME PROCESS

 At the beginning of the game, the participants hold an auction at which the shares of all five companies are sold. Each company issues only one share, the number of shares is limited. Then the players make a move in order of turn. During each turn, you can perform one of three permissible actions:

1. Put one unsold share up for auction
2. Build a section of railway track for your company
3. Develop a city or develop a new territory on which the company's railway tracks are already installed.

 All these actions are marked on the field with an indicator. First, the player moves the arrow on the necessary indicator, and then either does what is planned or not. If the choice fell on the expansion of the railway, then the game participant pays for the construction of the section with funds from the company's assets. The company can receive funds exclusively from the sale of shares - this is an important point. The development of the territory and the development of cities does not require monetary costs and increases the company's income. After the arrows of two of the three indicators have reached the final mark, the dividend payment phase will begin. The amount of dividends is equal to the company's income divided by the number of shares sold. Players receive dividends from the pot, then the indicator arrows are reset to zero.

END OF THE GAME

 There are several options when the game ends:

• all three companies ran out of locomotives
• three companies ran out of stock
• 3 or less unclaimed house chips remain
• Detroit's development value reached 8

 Players receive dividends last and count money. The one who managed to earn more than everyone else is the winner!
