The board game "For Sale" was developed in 1997. In 2005 and 2009 the art was changed and the rules were revised. In 2016, the game became a finalist in the "Les Trois Lys" competition, and in 2017 - a nominee for the "Hungarian Board Game Award". "For Sale" is still in the TOP-55 best family games on the site "BoardGameGeek".

WITH A HAMMER! DOUBLE AUCTION

Before the game, house cards and checks are mixed into separate decks. In the first half of the game a deck of houses is used, and in the second - checks. Players receive starting banknotes. The party consists of two stages:

1. PURCHASE OF HOUSES

There are as many cards as there are players from the deck of houses. Players take turns betting. The first player lays out a certain amount of banknotes. The next player must break the bet or pass. If a player passes, he takes the cheapest card of the house and returns half of his current bet. The last remaining player takes the most expensive card of the house and gives the whole amount to the bank. New house maps are opening. The phase lasts until the participants buy out all the houses.

2. SALE OF HOUSES

Cards on the number of players are opened from the deck of checks. Each participant chooses one card of the house and puts it in front of him closed. Maps of houses are opened at the same time. Players disassemble check cards in the order of value of houses - from the most expensive to the cheapest. Used house cards are reset. New check cards open. The phase lasts until the participants sell out all the houses.

END OF THE GAME

At the end of the game, participants summarize the denominations of check cards and add unspent banknotes to them. The richest player becomes the winner.
