DESCRIPTION OF TZAAR BOARD GAME

 You are probably familiar with such classic games as chess, checkers and backgammon. Despite the fact that their history dates back many millennia, these games are still popular. But not everyone knows that in our time there are simple and elegant games that claim the title of classics. This is a series of abstract strategy games GIPF Project. We bring to your attention the sixth game of the "Tzaar" series.

BEFORE THE GAME

 A hexagonal playing field is laid out on the table. Participants accidentally place chips at the intersection of the lines, completely filling the field. The first player receives white chips and the right of the first move.

HOW TO PLAY

 Each player has three types of chips. Loss of all chips of one of these types threatens to defeat the player. Goal of the game: first to deprive the opponent of all the chips of the same type or the ability to capture yours.

 In his turn, the player must perform two actions:

   1. Move the chip in a straight line and grab the nearest opponent's chip

   2. perform one of three actions to choose from: grab another opponent's chip, strengthen your own or save.

HIGHER - STRONGER

 You can capture an opponent's chip with a chip of the same strength or a stronger chip. The strength of the chip is determined by its height. To strengthen the chip, you can put another on top of it, forming a column. Some types of chips can aggravate others. The column type is determined by the top chip. This allows you to quickly respond to a decrease in the number of certain types of chips. In the process of playing on the table grow columns of chips of different heights. If a player grabs an opponent's chip, it is removed from the field and replaced by a player's chip.

INTER-PLANET TAAR TOURNAMENT

 The tournament version differs from the usual only by training. Chips are not laid out on the field at once. Players take turns placing one chip on the field, determining their location.
