Welcome to the world of Res Arcana, where Life and Death, Impulse and Peace of Soul, and Gold are the entities that nourish the ancient art of magic. Players are transformed into powerful wizards who compete for the title of the greatest magician. You have to collect essences, create unique artifacts, use them to summon supernatural beings and fight for places of power. The promo pack adds cards of magicians with an alternative appearance.

BEFORE THE GAME

Essences, Magic Objects, Monuments and Places of Power are laid out on the table. Each participant begins his way to the top with 1 essence of each species, 3 artifacts and 1 Magic Item. Players receive a deck of 8 artifacts, 3 of which form a hand. It remains to choose a magician, and you can start.

HOW TO PLAY

The game lasts 4-6 rounds. The first to score 10 or more winning points will be the winner. Among the artifacts are Dragons and Creatures, and some artifacts give victory points. Monuments and Places of Power bring the most winning points.

To create magic, you need the right ingredients. Therefore, first of all, players collect the essences indicated on their cards. We find ourselves in a world where magicians can work day and night, creating magical artifacts. For this reason, the number of essences is unlimited.

Then the participants take turns performing the available actions. To lay out an artifact, capture a Monument or a Place of Power, you must pay for certain essences. You can reset the artifact card, and get two essences of any kind or gold.

Artifacts have forces that can be applied by turning the map. Using forces, participants receive essences, new cards and take the lives of opponents. After passing, the player replaces his Magic Item with another from the reserve, and takes 1 card. When everyone has passed, participants check the number of points.
