DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME PALADINS OF THE WESTERN KINGDOM
The architects had just rebuilt the Western Empire when problems began. The Saracens, Vikings and Byzantines are being pushed to the frontiers, driven by a thirst for easy profit. Architects quickly forget about their competitions, because to decorate the kingdom is never - you need to build outposts and fortifications.
Rather, we gather workers and townspeople and call on paladins to protect the settlement from enemies. The empire is in danger, and in the minds and hearts of the su. Therefore, we must not only build fortifications, but also strengthen faith throughout the earth.
HOW TO PLAY
We will defend the Western Empire for 7 rounds. At the beginning of the round, cards of royal orders and allegiances are opened, marked with red and green seals, respectively, as well as tavern cards. Orders are a source of points. Commitment extends the scope to the current round. In the taverns by candlelight gather diverse companies of workers.
Each participant selects 3 cards from the personal deck of paladins and chooses one. This knight gives you two workers of a certain type in the current round. The second paladin is located at the top of the deck, and the third at the bottom. The chosen paladin has his parameters of strength, faith and special skills given by the Almighty.
After opening the paladin cards, players choose tavern cards. This card brings you four workers. Whom you will not meet in taverns! There are the simplest hard workers, salesmen, warriors, spies, clerics, monks and all sorts of nonsense that arouses various suspicions, ie criminals.
Each player takes turns displaying figures of workers in the location on the tablet or commitment cards. The left side of the tablet is responsible for building the engine and obtaining resources, and the right - for winning points and improving performance. The following actions are available to participants:
- Fortifications and garrisons. Workers in combination with a nutritious lunch will allow you to build a wall or put a garrison on the field. You will need more provisions and exposure to build each subsequent part of the wall.
- The attack requires workers and silver. If your strength exceeds that of your opponent, you win and receive the reward indicated on the opponent's card.
- Baptism . Instead of converting the enemy to baptism with fire and sword, try to convert him to your faith.
- Power of attorney . To put a monk on the playing field, it is necessary to spend our daily bread and workers.
- Exaltation of prayer . Use the monk and one silver coin to return all the workers to the bosom of the church, and at the same time to your reserve.
- Recruitment of citizens . Every inhabitant of the city has unique skills.
- Hunting and trade are a sure way to make a living from gold or silver.
- Development . You can move the workshop chip on the track at the top left of the tablet to a free space on the right. As soon as the distribution of the track is released, the player gets the appropriate worker.
- Conspiracy . Get one criminal in purple clothes with a suspect card. The more suspicion you have, the better your chances of getting into debt.
- Pitchers quench the thirst for bonuses in exchange for workers and silver.
END OF ROUND AND END OF GAME
When everyone saves, the round ends. The remaining townspeople and enemies retreat, new maps are opened. Tavern cards are discarded, and commitment cards are returned to the general stock. At the end of the 7th round, the points are counted. Players receive software for completed orders, various tracks, silver and food, newly converted enemies. Debt cards are taken away by points.
