DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME POTIONS EXPLOSION

 Congratulations! You have just graduated from the school of witches and wizards. During your studies, the best professors of magical sciences passed on their skills to you, revealed the secrets of magic and taught you recipes for magic potions and spells. Now it's time to take the final exam and prove to the professors that you didn't just wipe your pants in potions lessons.

 Before you is a beautiful, original board game Potion Explosion, in which participants will collect ingredients and brew magic potions from them to gain magical powers. The best among you will achieve the honorary title of Student of the Year! So, as they say, no matter what!

BEFORE THE EXAM

 Place a special magic dispenser filled with colorful balls on the table - these are the secret ingredients for your future cocktails. Players place the desk tablets and two starting potion recipe tiles in front of them.

 Shuffle the remaining recipes and arrange them into five piles. You will also need Professor's Help tokens and Skill tokens for the exam. Now that you're all set, let's get started!

HOW TO PLAY

 On his turn, the player takes one ball of any color from the available (visible) ones in the dispenser. The balls in it are placed at an angle, so when the player takes one ball, the others in that row roll down.

 If, as a result of such a roll, balls of the same color collide, an explosion will occur! And these balls are also taken by the participant whose actions led to this collapse. If you take balls from the distributor deliberately, you can provoke a whole series of explosions and get a lot of ingredients in one turn.

 At any point during their turn, a player can once use the help of Chudernak Zamolyanus, the director of the Gorribilorum Academy of Magic for talented witches and wizards, who will gladly allow them to take another ingredient from the dispenser. When asking the director for help, the player takes the corresponding help token, which will deduct 2 victory points from the total score at the end of the game.

HOW TO MAKE A POTION

 When all possible ingredients from the dispenser have been obtained, players place them on their potion recipe boards. The balls are arranged clearly by color and in the required quantity. You can place the excess balls (if any) in the flask - this will be your supply of ingredients for the future. The flask can store a maximum of three balls, so return the rest (if there are any left) back to the dispenser through a special receiver.

 When a potion tile has all the necessary ingredients, it is considered cooked. The player drops the balls from it back into the dispenser, removes the potion from the burner, and turns it over. A new potion tile, chosen from any pile on the table, is placed in the vacated space.

 By the way, players can drink ready-made potions, gain magical power, and use the resulting effect depending on the type of brew drunk.

 For example, a player who prepares and drinks a potion of wisdom will be able to take one additional ingredient from the dispenser, and the elixir of blind love will allow you to steal all the ingredients from the stock of one of your opponents. There are 8 types of magic potions in the game, each of which has its own unique property.

SKILL TOKENS AND END OF THE GAME

 For brewing three bottles of the same type of potion or five different players are rewarded with special skill tokens. The game ends when all these tokens are distributed. Participants count the points received for the brewed potions (they are indicated on the back of the tile), the points for skill tokens and subtract points for director's assistance. The player with the highest final score becomes the student of the year!

 Potion Explosion is a family board game for 2-4 players. Preparing and taking magic potions will appeal to both young wizards aged 8 and up, as well as adults, wise elders who are well versed in elixirs.
