DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION " THE ISLE OF CATS: KITTENS AND BEASTS"

 Can you imagine anything even nicer than a furry cat? The answer is yes! Lively and playful kittens are admired by anyone who has not yet lost the ability to move.

 A fresh modular addition to the Cat Island board game will help meet the younger generation of the Cat Tribe, diversify the basic game, dilute the game with new mechanics and introduce elements of gameplay complexity especially for those experienced players who are used to winning the basic game.

WHAT AWAITS US HERE?

 The set includes three modules of varying complexity, each of which is better to get acquainted in turn, but you can combine everything at once if you plan to have fun in the "hardcore" mode.

• The Kittens module is the lightest and comes into play during the fourth phase of Cat Rescue. Now you can pick up from the island not only adults, but also small agile kittens in the amount of one or two pieces, spending an empty basket and a delicious fish. Kittens are the same cats, but only smaller in size, when counting points, their tiles are counted as normal and bring points according to the standard scheme. Keep in mind: only the fastest player will be able to save kittens every day!
• The "Animals" module adds other inhabitants of the island to the game. To save them from the black army of Vesha the Dark-Handed, you will have to try hard - they agree to go only on the first day of the game, when you fill the zones, and in the rescue phase. In our turn we can save either one animal or one cat, but no one limits us in the number of moves. On each tile of the animal there are symbols of cat families, with which this animal is ready to make friends and bring the owner of the rescue ark valuable 5 points. Saving animals will always cost 5 fish, because they will always lie in the right zone.
• The "Events" module is the most difficult one available, because the army of Vesh himself enters the game! The situation on the field will change every day, the drums of war will sound closer and closer, and you will have to adapt if you do not want to fail an important rescue operation! This module is used when filling zones - event tiles are divided into points and actions, penalties, bonuses are introduced and can significantly change the course of your game, influencing the methods of counting points and game tasks.
