DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME LUSITANIA XXI

 Caesar is indignant - how could this great and invincible army of his not be able to crush some skinny Lusitania? In the most remote part of Iberia, the people were so unruly and arbitrary that they dared to smash all the Roman legionaries and their secret leaders to dust! It's time to show these fools what such heroic resistance is really worth...

 Unfortunately, it will not be possible to side with the Lusitanians in this conflict, because the lot has already been cast. This time we have one task - to recruit in the great Roman Empire such glorious soldiers from among the legionnaires and barbarian mercenaries, who can subjugate the free people. Part of the army is ready to be led and financed by Julius Caesar personally, and the rest of the army will be led into battle by three of the most experienced Roman generals.

CAME, SAW, WON - OR NOT?

 In this fast-paced card board game, we have to deal with ... cards, don't be surprised! To achieve our goals, we have the freedom of choice: either place cards in a row in front  of us, that is, in 9 free cells with numbers from 0 to 8, or exchange cards from our hand for those that are "training" in the camp in the center of the table. Other players will also be able to lay out cards in the center - this is how warriors will be exchanged between those sitting at the table. Cards placed in a row bring victory beams, and to declare victory, you need to score 21.

 Let's go in turn, starting with the player who owns the Caesar card. During your turn, you can do the following:

• Make an exchange (trade) - the card from your hand will go to the center of the table, and instead you will take the one you like from the training camp.
• Recruit troops - send one of the cards from your hand to the row in front of you.
• Discard one of the cards.

 In addition, at any moment of the turn, we can perform one special action for free, namely, activate one of the Mars God or Visitor cards and use its unique property.

WHAT THE CARDS ARE CAPABLE OF

 Lusitania parties wouldn't be as interesting without special Visitor cards. Each of them brings a bit of chaos to the slender ranks of card legionnaires and mercenaries. Let's see who can do what!

• Julius Caesar conducts a global redeployment of troops - remove all training field cards to the discard pile and replace them with 4 new ones. The Caesar card should now go into the hand of the player to your right, but only if he does not have two Visitor cards or the god of Mars. In this case, the card will go further in the circle, and has every chance to return to you in the same turn!
• Commander allows you to replace 1, 2, or 3 cards from your hand with new decks.
• An Auxilia card will bring 1 point at the end of the game. You may not leave it in the guest card slot, but move it to any free soldier slot in your army from 1 to 7.
• The senator will allow you to take a random card from each of your opponents, giving them yours in return.
• The inspector will replace a card from your hand with any card from the discard pile.
• The doctor will help you get rid of 1 or 2 obsessive musicians,
• Cleopatra cunningly removes one of the equipment cards from the opponent's army and sends it to the reset.

WHO IS THE GAME FOR?

 "Lusitania XXI" is a family card filler for 2-4 people, which will appeal to those who like not only to draw cards chaotically, but also to strain their heads a little. Here it is critically important to think through each move, assess the situation and form your own strategy for the party.
