 Admiral - it sounds proud, and admiral of the space fleet - just incredible! The European-style board game "Space Base" will allow you to get this famous title in the final. Of course, the strongest and most intelligent leader will deserve it, but more on that later, now is the time to talk about the genre.

 Do not expect from this game heated battles in the style of "Star Wars", here we will have more of a peaceful wheel-building process with the accumulation of resources than a military-tactical action: every turn we will buy merchant and warships that extract resources from the shipbuilding station in order to improve your tablet with them. But Space Base does not become less interesting because of this, because by building each new ship, we thereby contribute to the enrichment of the enemy, besides, everyone must decide for himself when it is worth stopping the accumulation of funds, and it is time to start worrying about what is necessary for victory reputation points.

DON'T THROW MONEY TO THE WIND

 The very mechanics of the game are not difficult to understand: at the start, each of us will have a large fleet tablet on which 12 starting ships will be placed. Which of them will be involved and which resources we will receive, respectively, will be decided by the roll of two six-sided dice. We can either use the total result of this roll or look at each cup individually to determine the active sector. Got a coin? Slide the top track - with money - at the bottom of your tablet to the appropriate division and take what you deserve.

 With each purchase of a new ship, the money track will be reset, but if you want to consolidate the result and regularly receive more coins to buy better types of ships, then think ahead and develop the second line on the tablet - income. If your income indicator is, for example, six, then after receiving two coins in the next round, you can add six to them and spend eight at once. Passive income is nice! And the most important and necessary thing is the third row of victory points, which is not very easy to advance. For this, you will have to buy special types of cards with a yellow field - colonies that will cover an entire ship hangar. You will get your reputation, but you will lose the lion's share of the money. This is where the constant dilemmas arise: to collect further or to know the time and measure?

Let's figure it out: you and I came to the station, bought a new ship, which will occupy, let's say, the 9th cell of the tablet. And where to put the ship that stood there before? Is there no place for an old wardrobe in a stall? Throw away such seditious thoughts, we protect our belongings and do not change transport like gloves - this ship does not go to reset, but goes on patrol: its map is placed upside down under your tablet in a special way. From now on, he will bring you coins when your opponents roll successfully: someone will get a 5 and a 4, for example, here you are using your 9th slot! The game continues in a circle until one of the players collects 40 victory points. After that, the final round is played and the final leader of the arms race is determined.

 A good family game "Space Base" is somewhat reminiscent of a simple card game Machi Koro and is great for those who have a large table at home.
