DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME PIRATES OF THE 7 SEAS - SECOND EDITION

 It's time for sea adventures. Chests of gold, robbing caravans, trading loot and, of course, protecting your treasures - all this is the life of a pirate. The game Pirates of the Seven Seas offers players to lead a pirate gang and make it a storm of the seas.

FORWARD FOR TREASURES

 The in-game currency in the game is gold chests. In addition, chests with gold bring the lion's share of points at the end of the game. Spending chests with gold is not a problem at all - you will be doing this throughout the game. You can only hire a new crew of pirates by paying them with a chest of gold. Replenishment of the gold reserve is a costly, but exciting process - first you will need to participate in an attack on a caravan, according to the results of the battle, divide the looted goods, load them on a ship and sell them in one of the ports.

ATTACK ON THE CARAVAN

 One of the exciting and at the same time original parts of the game is the attack on the caravan. When one of the players plays a Captain card, he can assign an Adventure in which all pirates can participate. After playing the Captain card, the player lays out an adventure card (optional action). The adventure map determines the country, the combat power of the caravan and the amount of goods that can be loaded into its holds in the event of a successful attack. Each player can send a certain number of their free ships (cubes) on this adventure. After each player has decided on a fleet, one player takes all the dice and adds red ones to them, according to the number of ships in the caravan (listed on the adventure card). Throws all the dice on the playing field…

RESULT OF THE BATTLE

 The roll of all the dice determines the location and power of the ships. Next, the following mechanism works: the closest pairs of cubes are determined, one of which is red (merchant fleet), and the other is a pirate ship. There was a battle. The cube with the lowest value is taken from the field. If the values on the dice are equal, then both are removed from the field. The process continues until all ships of the caravan (red cubes) are destroyed. According to the results of the battle, the pirates share the goods. It may happen that the pirates are defeated.

CHARACTER CARD DRAW

 Your team can turn to one of 7 characters: Ship, Governor, Captain, Aborigine, Shaman, Merchant or Cartographer. Each role is endowed with a certain ability and skill: the Ship is able to replenish your fleet with new ships from the reserve, the Captain will send you on an adventure, the Shaman will put a curse on everyone, the Merchant will allow you to sell goods, the Aborigine will change the port, and with it the demand for goods , the Cartographer will allow you to find new adventures, and the Governor will represent your interests in one of the countries that you can join. Each turn, players will play one character card and perform the corresponding actions.

GAME OVER AND WIN

 The game ends when a game-ending card is drawn from the adventure deck. Play three more rounds and start counting points. Counting your gold chests is our first points. Next, we add one point for the talisman and every three Yin-Yang chips. We subtract three points for each black mark. Now you can determine the winner.
