DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME "TRAILS OF TUCANA"

 In the distant Indian Ocean, next to the island of Chunga-Changa, there is a group of little-studied Tucana Islands. These wonderful islands are home to local aboriginal tribes and exotic animals, as well as exclusive attractions. The Tucan Islands are an incredibly attractive tourist destination, but they are so unexplored that there are not even any tourist trails.

 In the Trails of Tucana board game, you have to explore the island and map out hiking trails that connect villages to attractions and animal habitats, as well as each other, so that tourists can travel in comfort. Whoever makes the best trail map wins the game.

MAP AND PENCILS

 As befits true cartographers, players get their own map of the island with marked landscapes and landmarks, as well as a pencil. One of the participants is appointed as the presenter. He will play on a level with the rest, but will perform simple technical work.

 At first, each participant has exactly the same cards of the island. With the help of a scenario card, which is randomly drawn from the deck and announced by the presenter, the players put the names of the villages on their cards. Moreover, each player will have these villages in different places on the map, which will make their island maps unique.

WE DRAW PATHS

 The leader shuffles the deck of landscape cards and reveals the top two cards. These maps point players to two landscapes that they can connect to each other with a path. Players select two adjacent plots on their map with the specified landscapes and connect them with a line from center to center. Here is the first path and it is ready. Each player draws it at his own discretion.

 Next, the presenter opens a new pair of landscape cards, and the participants draw a path again. You can continue the existing path, or you can draw it in any other place. This continues until the deck runs out of cards. After that, the leader shuffles the deck of landscape cards again and starts the second round of the game - identical to the first.

WHERE ARE YOU, THE PATH TOOK ME

 It is preferable to draw paths just like that, and try to combine villages with landmarks: an obelisk, a toucan, a yeti, a book, and a sea monster. Such connections bring players points, which they immediately mark on their playing fields. At the same time, players can earn certain "balls". For example, by connecting two identical sights with two villages with a path, the player gets the right to draw one path of any kind on his map.

 Also, players receive bonus points for paths connecting villages with the same name and attractions. The player with the most points after two rounds is the winner.

BIG ISLAND

 A very pleasant surprise in the game is that the notebook with the Toukana Island maps is double-sided. On one side there is a small island: for novice explorers, or for a small company, or when there is not much time for the game. On the other side, there is a large island. During the game on this map, the parties are played in three rounds. Also, it is nice that the rules of the game also provide for a solo mode, and it is quite decent.
