DESCRIPTION OF THE MUSHROOM BOARD GAME

Participants of the board card game Hryb'OK go to the forest for a "quiet hunt". In addition to searching for edible mushrooms, players will also meet animals that will help them fill baskets. A simple game will introduce players to the main types of mushrooms, and also in game form will reveal the winner who collected the most baskets. Suitable for playing in a family circle of adults and children.

PREPARATION FOR THE GAME

Shuffle the deck of cards with baskets and put one more on the table than the players in the game.

The number in the upper left corner of the card indicates how many mushrooms will fit in the basket. Set the other deck of basket cards aside.

Shuffle the deck of mushroom and animal cards and deal five cards face down to each participant. Set the other deck aside as well. Assign the first player and you're good to go.

GOAL OF THE GAME

Participants will try to fill the baskets with edible mushrooms, and take already full baskets as victory points. A full basket is taken by the player who put the last mushroom in it.

COLLECTING MUSHROOMS

During his turn, the player puts a mushroom card (edible or toadstool) from his hand into any empty basket and passes the turn to the next participant.

If the player does not have a card with a mushroom, but only animals, he discards animals one by one and draws cards from the deck into his hand until he draws a mushroom. Then passes the move.

WHY ARE ANIMALS NEEDED

Before playing a mushroom kata into one of the baskets, the player can play an animal card, perform the corresponding bonus, and then put his mushroom into one of the baskets.

For example, the Squirrel card will allow the player to discard any mushroom from any basket (edible or toadstool - at his discretion).

The Dog card played allows the player to place two mushrooms in a basket (or in different baskets) in one turn.

The hare allows you to grab one card from the neighbors, and the hedgehog is able to drag a mushroom from one basket to another.

HARVEST

When the basket is full, the player who placed the last mushroom in it takes the basket for himself. But only if only edible mushrooms are placed in it. A basket in which there is at least one fly agaric is sent to the reset. In the place of the taken baskets, new ones from the deck are opened, and the game continues until all of them disperse among the players.

END OF THE GAME

At the end of the game, the participants sum up the numbers on the collected cards of the baskets, and those remaining in their hands also bring points. WARNING! A fly agaric card remaining in a player's hand subtracts 5 points from the total score. The participant with the most points is declared the winner.

WHO IS THE GAME FOR?

Mushroom OK is a purely family board game, but it is more suitable for families with small children from 5 years old. Despite the presence of a game conflict, the games are friendly, educational and even with educational elements.
