DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME GERMANIA MAGNA: BORDER IN FLAMES

 Germania Magna: Border in Flames is an alliance-switching game for 2-4 players that lasts approximately 30-60 minutes. Each player takes on the role of a German general raiding Roman territory. The enemy is very powerful, so to win you need to make alliances (however fragile) with other warlords who will switch sides every time the tide of war changes.

 At the very beginning of the game, the Roman provinces open up for raids. Players then draw cards and spend loot to recruit military units. Later, they will be used in conjunction with tactical and strategic maps to attack Roman provinces - alone or as part of a larger group, receiving loot and glory points. The game ends when at least six provinces have been looted. The winner is the player with the most glory points
