DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME PANDEMIC : ON THE BRING

 The world is once again at risk of infection. The fight against viruses continues, and the best specialists have been selected for this. A mutation in a virus, a bioterrorist, and a virulent strain have made the game diverse and multifaceted. Assemble a team to fight the epidemic and start creating a vaccine.

WHAT HAS BEEN ADDED?

 The most predictable novelty is new Characters with new properties. Six more new specialists were added to the basic ones, plus two more: the updated Builder and the Bioterrorist. The latter is used in a scenario with a bioterrorist, where game participants are divided into two teams - the good and one bad. The chips of each character changed with the roles (changed in appearance), which had a positive effect on their placement on the playing field.

 8 new event maps that make life much easier for players. The rule of including these cards in the game has changed - two cards per player.

 The set includes four pacifier cards - you can come up with two new characters and two events.

 Pleasant little things in the form of 6 Petri dishes play two important roles: atmosphere and convenience. Now all the disease cubes can be placed in the appropriate cups - a trifle, but a nice one.

 In addition, another (7) map of the Epidemic has been added for anti-virus specialists. We don't know who is ready to play at such a difficult level, but there is such an opportunity.

GAME SCENARIOS

 The addition gives us three story lines. The three proposed scenarios can be combined with each other and with the basic version of the game. Thus, the Virulent Strain scenario suggests that we replace the Epidemic maps with Strain maps. When a map of the Strain appears in the game, some changes occur with the most common virus (you will need an additional map to create a vaccine, reduce the number of cubes in stock, etc.);

 In the Mutation scenario, a new virus appears - purple cubes. This virus is notable for being more dangerous than others. The danger in the game is transferred by a reduced number of cubes - 12 pieces. To pass the scenario, 5 vaccines should be developed (another condition - 4 vaccines and cleaning up the mutated virus);

 The Bioterrorist script dramatically changes the mechanics of the game. The side of evil appears in the game. Now one player will oppose a group of biologists and prevent them from creating a vaccine.

WHO IS THE GAME FOR?

The "Pandemic: On the Border" add-on is recommended for all owners of the base game. If you have lost interest in the base game because the game has been passed several times, the Add-on solves this problem. The new scenarios and opportunities offered by the developers will give players a huge number of new tasks and strategic decisions.
