Space stalkers exploring the outermost corners of the galaxy have discovered the planet Artemia. Preliminary scanning of the planet showed that it is livable, has water and oxygen. However, there is nothing in the earth's archives about this planet except the name. Something's wrong here ... A team of researchers is heading to Artemia to unravel her secret. When landing, the ship crashed, all crew members remained alive, but can only return after waiting for rescuers. As soon as you regained consciousness, it became clear that hunting was open to you ...

What's the game?

In the Not Alone game, one participant acts as Creatures and the other is reincarnated into surviving crew members. The purpose of the Creature is to assimilate aliens, the purpose of the crew is to survive until the rescue ship arrives.

Preparing for the game

From ten maps, laid out in two rows, the landscape of distant and inhospitable Artemia is formed. Each crew member receives 5 maps of the place where he can escape from a hostile life form, as well as one survival card with some skill or technology that increases the chances of survival. The creature is given 3 hunting tokens and 3 hunting cards.

How is the game going?

Each round is divided into 3 phases:

1. Research . In this phase, each victim chooses a place to explore. In other words, the place where the researcher will hide. The following locations are available: Lair, Jungle, River, Beach, ATV, Swamp, Refuge, Wreckage, Source and Artifact. Players lay out a hand-picked map of the seat in front of them with their shirt facing up. Moreover, victims are allowed to discuss locations. Because the discussion must also be heard by the party playing for the Being, victims can bluff and cheat while communicating. Also note that each location has its own unique abilities that can be activated during the Payment phase.
2. Hunting . In this phase, the move goes to the Being. which places its hunting tokens on the map of the planet's locations: the Target token, the Creature token and the Artemia Token.
3. Payback . When the Creature placed its nets on the planet, the victims unveiled their terrain maps. If your character is in a location where the Creature has not left the hunting token - you are in luck: Play the benefits of this location (written on the map) and move the rescue token closer to the finish. But if you find yourself in the spot with one of the hunting tokens, it doesn't bode well. Depending on the location and the token, victims may lose place cards and will tokens, and the assimilation chip will move to its finish. Also during this phase, participants can additionally play Survival Cards (for victims) and Hunting Cards (for Creatures), which have special extra effects during clashes.

When is the end of the game?

When the rescue chip reaches the final division, the surviving players leave the planet safely. If the assimilation chip has reached the first final divide, then crew members are waiting for a sad fate, but the Creature can rejoice. Well, it seems time to build a new expedition!
