DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME EVERDELL 

  A wonderful tree grows on the green lawn of the fairy-tale forest of Everdel, surrounded by a quiet river and the houses of forest creatures. However, no matter how wide the crowns of an ancient tree are, it cannot shelter everyone. Well, it's time for everyone to build their own city!

  The game really seems to breathe colors, the freshness of juicy greenery and the peaceful murmur of the river. A very lively and skillfully written fairy-tale picture opens before our eyes. The inhabitants of the forest are simply charming, the atmosphere is very relaxed, cozy and bright. And this is not surprising, because even the playing field resembles an artist's palette.

BEFORE THE GAME

  The forest generously provides its inhabitants with all the necessary resources. Along the river bank you can find pebbles, berries, resin and branches. But no one knows what else the river will bring. The basic event tiles are laid out by the river at the foot of the tree. In the whisper of its leaves, you can also hear words that tell about future events. Cards of special events are placed on the lower crown of the tree.

  The main deck of cards is placed next to the tree. From it, 8 action cards are placed face up on the field. Each builder has two fairy workers at his disposal. Other workers are placed on branches with spring, summer and autumn leaves. The first player receives 5 action cards, and each subsequent player receives one more card.

GAME PROCESS

  The goal of the game is to get the maximum number of points for your city. Maps, travels and events bring them. Construction begins in winter and continues until the fairy lands are covered with snow again. During his turn, the player can perform one of three actions.

  Place an employee. With the help of forest workers, you will be able to collect resources, play out events, travel and get new cards. There can be no more than 8 cards in the hand. The forest is full of grandeur and mystery, and to join them, you need to visit certain areas only individually. But Prykhystok is ready to accept everyone without exception. Players can place their workers not only on their own, but also on other people's locations, if they happily welcome the workers with an "Open" sign. In the latter case, the owner receives a bonus. In autumn, workers can go on a trip.

  Play a card from your hand or field. Playing cards into his zone, each player creates a city, filling it with new creatures and buildings. The city consists of 15 cards - 3 rows of 5 cards, not including events. New residents can be lured to you with ripe berries and buildings of a certain type.

  Prepare for the next season. Exposed workers return to the hand. Each participant performs an available action and receives the corresponding bonuses. Before one season gives way to another, new workers rush down from the tree to help their fellows.

END OF THE GAME

  After saving, the player cannot receive resources and action cards. When all participants save, the game will be over. It's time to count the points and find out which city has become the best home for the fabulous inhabitants of the forest.
