DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME MODERN ART

 In 2009, Rainer Knytsia released the game "Private Collection". At that time, connoisseurs of the beautiful bargained to hoarseness for paintings by Vermeer, Degas, Monet, and Renoir Van Gogh. However, the classic painting of the Dutchman and the fleeting canvases of the Impressionists, of course, could not cause real hysteria in the public. That's why Reiner took a swing at explosive modern art, after which you have only two ways - to an auction or to a mental hospital.

 In the game "Modern Art", participants act as representatives of five famous museums of the world. Your goal is to buy as many canvases of popular painters as possible and preferably cheaper. The game features real paintings by five contemporary artists - Manuel Carvalho, Ramon Martins, Daniel Melim, Sigrid Thaler and Rafael Silveira, whose creations adorn the game box.

AS IN VIVALDI

 Each participant receives a museum screen, an equal number of cards with the image of famous paintings, as well as starting capital. We immediately hide the money behind the screen so that the competitors are confused, and the auction went according to plan. The rustling of bills and the ringing of coins - here it is, the real music of art!

 The game will last four rounds, which in artistic circles are called seasons. Four seasons are published, just like in Vivaldi. By the way, you can turn on classical music to make the auction even more festive.

 On the playing field, where five artists are represented, the auctioneers will determine the commercial success of the painters with the help of popularity tokens during four rounds. As you may have noticed, the field is a completely independent work of art, which is a collage of artists' canvases and circles in the style of pop art. Well, or something like that. Why are we? And to the point that when you put the painting up for auction, don't forget to present it vividly to everyone present!

LET'S HIT THE HAMMER ON THE ART

 During his turn, the player receives a token with an auction hammer. They decided not to add a real hammer. One look at the box is enough to understand that modern art literally blows the roof off. Therefore, the author was afraid that the auctioneers in the heat of the bidding would start hammering each other with the same hammer.

 The player chooses a card, shows it to other participants, thinks about the merits of the canvas and puts it in the center of the table so that every connoisseur of beauty can take a good look at it. After that, the bidding begins. The winner pays the owner of the picture. When the seller himself decides to buy the painting, he pays the money to the bank. If there are no takers, the seller will pick up the painting for free or after paying a fixed price.

AWESOME PRICE

 When the fifth painting of one of the artists is put up for sale, the season ends. The more the artist's paintings were put up for sale, the greater his popularity and the more expensive his works will be sold. Players mark the season's most popular artists with tokens, then sell their paintings to the bank and get paid. At the beginning of the next season, participants take new cards.

 The public is capricious. Therefore, popularity may rise or fall. At the end of the fourth round, players count the amount of tokens and determine the final value of the artists' paintings. Money for recent acquisitions is added to the total capital.
