DESCRIPTION OF NIDAVELLIR BOARD GAME

 Excerpt from the dragon recipe book: Knight's armor, like a solid piece of foil for baking in the oven, will help preserve the highest taste qualities of the steak wrapped inside.

 There is very little left for the lizard, which is waking up from sleep, to look for those willing to become a juicy nutritious snack. And this means that it's time to gather a squad of faithful friends - chunky dwarves - ready for outright madness: killing the terribly hungry and evil dragon Fafnir.

WHAT THE LEGEND TELLS US ABOUT

 Fafnir is a little upset that he has been forced to be alone for centuries, and now welcomes any company... to wreak terrible bloodshed on any random guest. In general, imprisonment clearly did not benefit his already bad character. And what about brave heroes? Have you moved? Can't we make it? The advantage of every warlord, especially a dwarven warlord, is intelligence, intelligence, and a well-beaten team. What about a dragon? We are sure to impress, the main thing is to drag your future squad out of taverns and other bad places. Who would you choose: young and strong, or maybe wise and experienced?

PREPARATION FOR THE GAME

 Each player at the start has in his arsenal a kingdom tablet and a basic set of coins for recruitment. We will have to look into the skin of three popular taverns in these lands to recruit the bravest warriors. It is the hero who, having collected more courage points than others, will be able to show himself in the final battle. Also, everyone will randomly get one crystal with a face value.

 The hero cards are placed on the table in special holders, next to which the Royal treasury takes its place, from which you can gradually improve your stock of recruitment coins by playing various properties. Card dwarves-warriors will enter the three taverns placed on the table. At the beginning of the game, only the weaker ones (cards of the first era) will entertain themselves with alcoholic beverages, and when they all take legal places in the pens, it will be possible to "uncork" the second, better deck.

THE COURSE OF THE DWARFS

 The round begins by updating the patrons in the taverns from top to bottom: first the guests are summoned by the "Jolly Goblin", followed by the "Soaring Dragon" and finally there is always the "Porting Horse". Players bid with coins on whose inn they would like to visit first. This is how the order of the move is determined, and if suddenly coins of the same denomination are placed on the same tavern, the first will help determine the crystal issued at the beginning of the game. Do you remember this one?

 Recruiting a dwarf from the tavern, we put him near our tablet, while paying attention to his class, indicated by the color and type of chevron. We can be a warrior, a scout, a miner, a blacksmith or a hunter. Members of the gang with the same classes will occupy places in columns, and a row of columns will gradually be filled with new classes.

COURAGEOUS HEROES AND REVIEW OF THE TROOPS

 Taverns are such "powerhouses" of this game. In addition to ordinary soldiers, here you can get a reward from the treasury, and after collecting all five dwarven classes, you can even recruit a hero - an improved warrior with "fat" abilities. However, some heroes cannot be lured into the squad without fulfilling their certain conditions! As soon as the first deck of dwarves runs out of cards, it's time to appear before the bright eyes of the monarch: we compare the number of chevrons in each class, and the player who took the first place in the "nomination" receives a certain award from the king himself. These badges are valuable and worth fighting for! Yes, the warrior's badge is the title of the king's right-hand man, which allows you to instantly improve one of your coins by five. Pleasantly!

 The end of the cards in the second deck signals the final stage of the game. We count the points and award the winner who was lucky enough to be the first to feed his squad to the angry dragon!

WHO IS THE GAME FOR?

 The strategic game "Nidavellir" is distinguished by good components, uninhibited mechanics and pleasant fantasy lore. It is not very complicated, although it requires careful analysis and calculation of the possible benefit from this or that action. Making bets and collecting sets of different Dwarf teams is a lot of fun in the family circle.
