DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION CARCASSONNE: HILLS AND SHEEP

 Carcassonne: Hils and Sheep is an expansion pack for the tile-laying board game Carcassonne. It includes new squares with hills, monasteries, and vineyards, shepherd tokens, sheep and wolf tokens, and a bag of pasture. If you want to make the basic Carcassonne even deeper and more diverse, then we recommend purchasing this expansion pack.

SHEPHERDS, SHEEP AND WOLVES

 At the beginning of the game, each player receives 1 shepherd token of their color. The sheep and wolf tokens are placed in the pasture bag.

 Instead of placing a subject, the player can place his shepherd on the field of the square just laid out. He then draws a random token from the bag. The sheep token is placed next to the shepherd on the field, and the wolf token is returned to the bag and the shepherd is returned to the owner's supply.

 When a player expands the field with his shepherd, he:

• increases the herd. Takes a token from the pasture bag. The sheep token is added to the field. The wolf returns all the sheep from the field to the bag and returns the shepherd to the owner's supply.

 or

• drives the flock into the sheepfold. Instead of taking a new token from the bag, the player returns all the sheep tokens from the field to the bag, receiving 1 point for each sheep depicted.

HILLS AND VINEYARDS

 When a player places a hill square, they place another random square underneath it. Hills give an advantage when determining the owner of an object (if a subject is placed on a hill square).

 Vineyard squares are laid out according to the usual rules. When scoring points for a monastery, the player receives 3 additional points for each adjacent vineyard.
