DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME ABYSS

 Abyss is a board game about the struggle for power in an underwater kingdom. Players represent various contenders for the vacated throne and try to use alliances, show of strength or trickery to gain great influence in various locations of the underwater capital.

LET'S DIVE INTO THE ABYSS

 During his turn, the player explores the abyss, opening one card at a time from the research deck. A deck can contain allied race cards, separated by color and level, as well as monster cards.

 Once revealed, the card is placed on the research track. Any other player in the game can buy an ally card from the track for pearls, which he gives to the active player. The first card costs only one gem, and each subsequent card increases in value. Each player can purchase only one card.

 In addition to allies, a monster card can also appear on the track. An active player can fight him, getting rewards for killing him and completing the research phase. Or skip it, continuing to explore the depths. In this case, a more serious reward awaits the next monster hunter.

 Allied cards remaining on the track, cards go to the Council, occupying spaces according to their color. Subsequently, any player can take all cards of the same color from the Board into his hand.

UNDERWATER LORDS

 Allies are needed to win over the Sea Lords. Their cards are placed on the playing field and have different requirements for the number and types of allied cards. In addition, some lords have access to special keys. Possessing three keys and the required number of lords, the player can seize power in one of the underwater locations.

 The game ends when one of the players wins over the seventh Lord. After that, the participants begin to count influence points and determine the winner.
