DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME AZUL 

 The azulejo presented by the Moors (originally white and blue ceramic tiles) conquered the hearts of the Portuguese. King Manuel I of Portugal, while visiting the Alhambra Palace in Southern Spain, was fascinated by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles. The king, impressed by the interior beauty of the Alhambra, immediately ordered that his own palace in Portugal be decorated with similar wall panels.

You, as craftsmen, are tasked with decorating the walls of the Royal Palace of Évora.

 In the game Azul, players take turns receiving colored tiles from the factory and placing them on their game boards. Later in the round, players score points based on how they place their tiles to decorate the palace. Additional points are awarded for certain patterns and sets of tiles. Players lose points for useless unused materials. The game continues until someone collects at least one horizontal line of five tiles. After the final scoring, the player with the most victory points wins.
