DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME AZUL: SUMMER PAVILION MINI EDITION
As soon as King Manuel I of Portugal did not please his eyes. By his order, the best masters decorated the walls of the Evora Palace with tiles, inventing new colors, and decorated the windows of the Sintra Palace with magnificent stained glass windows. And soon the monarch wanted to build the Summer Palace in honor of the most prominent members of the royal family. Meet the mini version of the game "Azul: Summer Palace"!
Unfortunately, the King died before construction began. But his dream lives on. So that an august person does not suffer in the next world, we, as the best architects and loyal subjects, are obliged to implement a grandiose plan into life.
THE KING'S NEW PROJECT
The next game in the series has a lot in common with its predecessor, but at the same time pleases with its novelty. After all, as they say, you cannot enter the same palace twice. Especially if it is decorated with new tiles all the time.
As before, we will pull colorful tiles from the bag and put them on the market, represented by a certain number of plates. Towards the end of his life, the King became demanding not only of tiles, but also of dishes. Therefore, the color of the plates has changed a little. The patterns are now placed on a soft blue background. The middle is also different. 4 tiles are placed on each dish.
The game has a field with a victory point track, a round marker and an additional market. Construction will last 6 rounds. In each round, one of the colors will be a joker. 10 tiles are placed on the additional market.
During his turn, the player can take tiles of the same color from the plate, placing the others in the center, or take tiles from the center. If there are jokers, the player takes one. Taking a tile from the center, the participant receives the token of the first player. The resulting tiles are laid out next to the personal tablet.
SEVEN STAR PALACE
All players receive a palace tablet, which shows 7 stars, each of which consists of 6 numbered blocks. It would seem that everything is simple, but even here the spirit of King Miguel does not know rest. He wants six stars to be laid out in one color, and seven stars to be laid out in different colors.
To place a tile on a block, it is necessary to discard the number of tiles of the same color, equal to the number of the cell, from the supply. For example, to place a tile on the blue cell with the number three, you need to discard three blue tiles. You can use jokers, but there must be a tile of the specified color among them.
The player gets 1 point for the laid out tile and one point for the tiles connected to it. If the tiles surround a column, statue or window, the player receives 1-3 tiles from the additional market.
END OF ROUND AND GAME
At the end of the round, there should be no more than 4 tiles in the hands. Others are reset, that is, they break. The spirit of the King cannot stand such treatment of the material to which he has given almost his whole life. Therefore, for each discarded tile, the player loses 1 point.
At the end of the sixth round, players receive points for all completed stars and for all closed ones, twos, threes and fours. The architect with the most points wins. Now the King's spirit will finally find peace!

Fans of the series, as well as fans of family abstract games, will be interested in building and decorating a new palace. If Manuel I managed to implement two of his three projects, then the Mad King Ludwig was much less lucky.
