The Winged Dynasties took good care of this idyllic place, but civil war led to its transfer to new owners – the Velikoyhastrub family. Will the Winged ask anyone whose immediate plans are to return Pellenitske Perelissya to their control?

 This booklet for the Roots board role-playing game contains everything you need to get started quickly: 6 ready-made characters, concise but complete rules for combat, injuries, costs, and equipment, as well as a unique adventure tied to a specific location. A quick start is not a metaphor: choose your hero, throw the leaves off the path, and set off into the unknown, at least now.

HOW TO PLAY

 Root RPG — what is it, is it worth explaining? You see the animals in the picture and they are… cute? But, try to look into each one’s little soul: each animal has its own serious goals, depending on belonging to a particular faction or the place where it comes from. Each has its own principles and special skills that help it survive in the hotbed of conflicts.

 This board role-playing game is built on the Powered by the Apocalypse system. In general, what you will do most of the time is communicate with other players and the game master, but the main thing is to interact with the world around you, fight or adapt to turbulent circumstances. The gameplay here is a conversation, interrupted from time to time by turns, which are subject to special rules. You can start a fight, deceive someone, conduct research, or even use magic - who is capable of what!

 We roll 2 regular six-sided dice, add the value of the corresponding characteristic from the hero's sheet - and see:

• 10+ - success!
• 7–9 — partial success or complications.
• 6- — hold on, bargemen, it's going to hurt.

 Don't worry - with this guide, it won't be that difficult to figure out the rules and start playing right away. And what? - on these pages your future characters are written with abilities, equipment, motivations and connections. They are ready, so pick them up and play! There is also an adventure with a separate clearing for it - a treasure for the novice gamemaster.
