 Thanks to the crazy success of "War of the Ring" , it became possible to release a standalone card version of the game, which will conquer the hearts of all fans of the fantasy world of J.R.R. Tolkien. This is a great transformation of the giant game for those who want to save time, but fully enjoy their favorite atmosphere.

DRAMATIC CONFRONTATION IN THE MIDDLE LAND

 This is an asymmetric game for 2-4 players who are divided into two teams - Free Peoples and Shadows. Each player has their own deck of cards containing both the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing factions. In the distant Mraklis, beyond the Inner Sea, monstrous monsters have stirred up, trying to subjugate the free kingdoms. Now the free peoples are more desperate than ever to destroy the Ring and protect their lands.

GAME PROCESS

 Each round, players take turns playing character, troop, item, and event cards. Each unique map allows you to fight, defend or conquer a fortress to control the battlefield in Middle-earth.

 The card can be played in front of you as a reserve, on the path card, or on the battlefield. Event cards activate one-time effects. Item cards are used to equip characters.

 The game lasts 9 rounds, and the key will be battles for locations, because they bring victory points to their team. Also, the game can end if one of the teams has an advantage of 10 victory points.

INTERESTING MECHANICS IN THE GAME

• Card cyclicity . Each card can be played in different ways - on the path cards, in the reserve or in the reset, which stimulates the planning of one's actions. In order to play a card from your hand, you must "pay" for it with another card, sending it to the reset. These cards will be shuffled and returned to the players deck. But for completely removing the card from the game, which can be the result of defeat in battle or damage to locations, you can get a good bonus.
• Mechanics of leadership. This mechanic involves the ability to play leaders only by joining the army, which balances the influence of powerful figures in the party's turn.

 Well-thought-out non-obvious tactical decisions of teams and unique balanced maps play their positive role in replayability.
