DESCRIPTION OF THE  BOARD GAME HIGH SOCIETY

 Rainer Knytsia's "High Society" opened its doors to everyone who wanted it back in 1995. The game fully lived up to its name and reached unprecedented heights, becoming the best game in Germany. And so, after twenty-eight years, the rich gathered again to trade at auctions again and determine the richest. And this time they have an even more luxurious look in their classic design!

GAME PROCESS

 We mix three types of cards in the deck: luxury, prestige and shame. The laws of higher society offer us only two options: to achieve recognition or to fail. Having received identical sets of money (11 cards of the same suit), the rich buy luxury items, hoping to get the desired recognition.

LUXURIOUS LIFE

 While the top card is revealed from the deck, participants make bets, starting with the first player. If a luxury card has been revealed, participants bargain for the right to have it. The player either interrupts someone else's bet or passes.

 It is interesting that bills cannot be exchanged. Therefore, if someone raised the rate a little, and you have no small change left, you will have to say goodbye to large bills. The winner gets a luxury card.

THE RICH ALSO CRY

 But, as they say, not the only luxury. If a shame card was revealed, participants try to redeem it. After all, no one wants to meet with talkative policemen, bandits and get into unnecessary trouble that happened due to carelessness and has the appearance of a scandal or a terrible fiasco.

 The player who saved first takes the dishonor card, while receiving all bets played. Well, at least some consolation for the unfortunate rich man. The next round begins with whoever received the card of luxury or dishonor.

END OF THE GAME

 It would seem that everything is simple - just buy private planes, tropical islands and everything that the eye can see. But where is there? Throwing money left and right, unfortunately, will not work. When the fourth card with a dark green background is revealed, the heavyweight money bag competition ends.

 Players count their cash balances. The least wealthy person is excluded from high society and he drops out. Luxury cards give you points, and dishonor cards take them away. Prestige cards will double the score, while certain dishonor cards will halve it.
