DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME DIXIT

 Did you know that in 2008, a new "monster" of board games, named Dixit, began its journey around the world? The Game of the Year award in Germany in 2010 is a direct testimony to that, because as many people know, this award is an analogue of the Oscar in the tabletop industry. And this, you must agree, is not so little. Here is an incomplete list of awards for this new game:

ASSOCIATION GAME

 Did you know that rhinoceros ears look like alpine meadows? And a walking elephant is almost the same as a straw hat after the rain? Do you think we are insane? Or a gray mouse swiped a testicle? Could it be American beauty at all? No? Well, then it's the androids that land...

 The board game Dixit breaks stereotypes. Dixit is an association game. You will finally find out how insane your friends are in your mind. And you will be surprised and convinced at the same time that people sometimes dream in the same way.

THE GAMEPLAY IS INSANELY SIMPLE

 So simple that it is not clear why this game was invented so recently. At the disposal of each player there is only one... I would like to say that it is a meeple, but in reality it is... either a kryple, or a krolemiple - a meeple in the form of a rabbit. Can you feel the madness blowing in the wind? And you have to survive more than one such hurricane. Rabbits hop on a point counter built into the box. Well, in addition to all this listed inconsistency, there is only one single deck of high-quality, full-color, large-format cards in the box.

CARDS

 What is drawn in the pictures is a separate topic for conversation. Imagine if Salvador Dali and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry got together and decided: "Let's make a deck of cards for the game of the 21st century." It's not easy to talk about sausages, but "I, ..., I'll draw them like this right now..." That's roughly in this spirit.

HOW TO PLAY

 In general, each Dixit player receives several such "pictures". One of the players is declared the Storyteller and the game begins. The Storyteller's task is to describe any of his pictures in any way available to him - with one word, a sentence, a name or a character from a movie, a short story, or even just a facial expression or a gesture. After that, he puts this picture on the table with his shirt up.

 All the other players, nervously laughing and mocking each other, find among their pictures those that, in their opinion, most closely match the Storyteller's description. After that, the pictures are mixed and revealed.

 Now the task of all players is to identify exactly the picture that the Narrator laid out. Everyone has vote tokens, which are placed face down and then revealed. The one who guessed - jumps forward with a crow's feet, the one who missed - nervously smokes on the sidelines. The latter - only if you have NOT guessed NOT everything!

THE ESSENCE OF THE GAME

 Here is the real taste - the initial task of the Storyteller is to describe the picture in such a way as to give some opponents a hint, an opportunity to guess, and to confuse others with the original style of his unique thinking. Only with such a schedule does the Storyteller's crolemyple move forward. In the event that everyone guesses the picture or the reverse situation - the opponents' rabbits will happily jump forward, not the narrator!
