 Fate is a capricious mistress. She pushes you into the maelstrom of events, even when you would rather stay out of it. But for a ronin, the word is as oppressive as the ashes of defeat, and as sharp as the blade of a sword. There is no master over him - now he has only a crooked road that winds through lands full of monsters, betrayal and cold dawns in the forest thicket. But isn't that the point: to seek one's destiny, even if it is hidden between the claws of an oni or in the pupil of a treacherous ally?

WHERE THE SUN RISE AND THE SWORD SHINES

 The Witcher: The Path of Destiny - Ronin is a separate game, not compatible with The Witcher: The Path of Destiny, but the two are based on the same ruleset. The manga adaptation of the journeys of the Witcher - a wandering swordsman without a master, searching for his place in the changing events - has become almost as popular as the original work by Andrzej Sapkowski.

 This semi-cooperative board game features familiar characters: Geralt of Rivia, Ciri, Yennefer, Dandelion, Vesemir, Triss, and Yuki-onna. Choose your hero and embark on a journey of battles and cunning decisions, trials and virtues. In a world where people, monsters, and dark forces intertwine their destinies, even the bravest warrior must reckon with their destiny. You'll have the opportunity to experience a completely new storyline in the world of The Witcher - what adventures will you remember the most?

HOW TO PLAY

 The game retains the key mechanics of its predecessor, The Witcher: Path of Destiny. You play action cards, complete quests, collect special symbols (magic, diplomacy, exploration, and combat), use  your heroes' abilities, defeat enemies, and progress through your own story. Everyone is a team, but the winner will still be determined in the end: help your friends, but also try to outwit them!

 The game unfolds over three chapters, each with three turns: you draw cards, play them, and apply the effects of the cards you play, while relaxing at a tea ceremony. Nothing makes a ronin happier than experience points!

 The Ronin version adds unique character skill cards that unlock new abilities and tactics. You get a personalized deck of event and challenge cards that create the atmosphere of samurai legends, but in the setting of The Witcher.

 Move your figures across the partnership field (such fields will be located between neighboring players) to have access to the skills of your comrades and at the same time monitor the balance in your own playing area - enlisting someone's support in this brutal quest will not be superfluous. Decide for yourself what priorities are more important to you at the moment: fight or retreat, save an ally or pursue your own benefit - everyone will advance to the final in their own way.

 Combining the atmosphere of the adventures of the witcher Geralt and Eastern legends, the manga authors created their own unique retelling of a familiar story - and now we are holding in our hands a fresh and atmospheric tabletop. Anyone who enjoys developing flexible strategies and has nothing against outsmarting their friends will find themselves in these plots. They will have to adapt to unpredictable circumstances and act in conditions of limited resources.
