 Eight heroes go in search of the Last Ruins. In this city of oblivion, a mysterious wish-granting artifact awaits them. One is looking for a lost love. Another misses his family. And someone just surrendered to fate...

 Full of hopes and vague expectations, travelers wander the deserts of Arzium, which are inhabited by nomads, mystics, bandits and humanoid lizards. You can trade useful goods with nomads. The secret knowledge of mystics helps heal deep wounds. Old-timers of the desert are lizards that have lived here since time immemorial. These amazing creatures have mastered mechanics and build fantastic mechanisms, as well as repair them. Bandits are in constant search of treasure and are always ready to use brute force.

WHAT NEWS ARE WAITING FOR US

 "Near and Far" is a continuation of the urban economic quest "Above and Below" . Like its predecessor, the game is based on worker placement mechanics and has a storybook. But there are also differences. The playing field was replaced by an atlas with different maps. As you go through the campaign, you will simply open the pages you need.

 Completed quests and experience points will help you better understand the history of your hero. Characters will have new talents. Someone loves animals and breeds pack birds. Someone knows how to brew a wonderful potion. And someone plays the piano perfectly. Players will also complete quests dedicated to the heroes and unrelated to the main storyline. In addition to the introductory adventure, three modes are available to participants: campaign, arcade and character mode.

PHILOSOPHY OF THE GAME

 The name of the game "Near and Far" is very meaningful. On the one hand, the mysterious city is somewhere close, on the other - far away. Why? Desires can be fulfilled only if greed and inner demons do not make one neglect the goal. Actions unfold both in the material world and in the world of the heroes' souls. And in the world of the soul, everything can be both distant and close.

 A tablet of the city is laid out on the table. Birds are dozing in the stalls, ready to take you to unknown places at any second. The road will not be easy, so you will need companion animals and a large supply of tents. You can also meet travelers with the ability to move between the worlds of both games. Everyone gets a gaming tablet.

GAME PROCESS

 The more the hero travels, the more chances he has to find the cherished ruins where the artifact is hidden. The goal of the game is to collect the maximum number of travel points. During his turn, the player can perform one of two actions:

• visit the city
• go on a trip

WELCOME TO THE CITY

 If you want to exchange goods or improve your reputation, visit the tavern. The door to the Saloon creaked open and you stepped inside. Travelers are sitting at the tables. In each hand is a mug of potion. The eyes look strangely, as if they still see distant lands that beckoned to the road. Here you will find a companion that will make your search easier. As you passed the stalls, you noticed some strange creatures. Pack birds are able to cover long distances and will help to shorten the path.

 To get rich with artifacts, go to the warehouse. Something in my stomach grumbled... Well, it's easy to get the necessary provisions on the farm. Treasures await you in the mystic's hut. After working in the mine, you can extract gems or get jingle coins. If, upon entering the building, you find an opponent there, you can challenge him to a duel. However, there is no telling how this will affect your reputation. In addition, you can easily go to jail.

TRAVELS

 After making sure that your party is full of strength and health, you leave the city and go to areas full of treasures and threats. To deal with the threat, it is enough to roll the required value on the die or pay with your health. You can also go back and bypass the threat. Heroes will find treasures and complete quests, receiving all kinds of rewards for their completion. Players build camps that allow them to control trade routes and earn points. Purchased artifact cards provide abilities and points at the end of the game.
