Placentia Games

 Placentia Games was a publishing house located in Piacenza (Italy), born in 2010 thanks to the passion and the courage of Franco Arcelloni, Sandro Zurla, and Stefano Groppi. Starting in 2016, it became a Post Scriptum brand.

 Post Scriptum and Placentia Games have always worked together, starting with publishing Stefano Groppi’s Florenza, reimplemented in 2020 as Florenza: X Anniversary Edition, then creating eurogames with well-structured rules and a perfectly balanced gameplay, while showing particular regard to settings and aesthetic appeal.

 Placentia products are perfectly balanced, carefully tested and designed to be fun for those who enjoy playing using logic and long-term planning.

 However, we don’t want Placentia games to be cold and calculating, quite the contrary. We take scrupulous care of graphics and illustrations as well as of historical and philological research because we want our games to let you relive the atmospheres of the narrated background.

 The results of this joint effort led to great satisfaction for everyone: Florenza won an award in the category of Best Editorial Product at the Best of Show 2010 at the Lucca Comics & Games fair was included in the Ideal Game Library 2011, and both the first and the second edition were sold out in no time.
